During the pandemic, my refrigerator stopped working on Friday. On Sunday, I managed to buy a refrigerator at Home Depot Laval that was to be delivered the following Saturday. However, I received a call three days later to tell me that I would receive the refrigerator in a month. I had to cancel the order and go buy it at Best Buy as I was living with a cooler as a refrigerator. Pretty pathetic false promises under the circumstances...

Just like any other big box place as with the competition no one on the floor and incompetent people just close at 6 because it’s pretty useless after that

I recommend you not use the Citi credit card, " promotional offer free of interest for 12 months" they will charge the full amount of interest even if you have a balance to pay of 10 dollars. Of course the will not pay you the interest for the money you pay to them in the same period of time. Home depot has responded; they want me to answer using Facebook. You want to find out who am I? I call you two days ago listen to your recordings. I use to be one of your loyals customers from Laval.

Came to the store for paint for our deck and we were served by Manal. She was an absolute gem and was very knowledgable. She offered amazing advice and we can't wait to paint our deck just because of her enthusiasm! Thank you, Manal!

We decided to buy the materials at Home Depot to the quality of the wood they had to be able to do our deck. We ordered online, got i delivered on a specific date and everything went well. During delivery the delivery man noticed one 12 foot wood was missing. Not a problem, the next day I called customer service to them we were missing a piece, they asked if we would be home later in the day so that they could deliver. Also not a problem, we waited but no one came. I waited 4 days, then decided to call again. Talked to someone and she took my number down and said she would call back. Waited two days then had to haul myself to the Home Depot store to credit the missing item since I had to finish my deck I went somewhere closer to my house to get the missing piece. I specifically paid for delivery because it was a hassle to go get the wood in a small car. In conclusion no one called me back, never received service even if I called. Service is not up to par and I'm unhappy that I paid for delivery but still had to drive to different places to be able to finish my building project.

Prefer home depot to reno depot because of three pretty basic things, product quality, product availability and service, at cash and in aisle. I've had pretty bad experience with reno depot and find home depot a nice alternative.

What to say about home Depot. It's a home renovation place like Reno Depot, Rona and other brands of the like. But what sets it apart? I would say because it doesn't have the exact same stuff.What I mean by that is you go to renodepot then Rona, except the fact that the accent color is yellow instead of green/blue, everything else is the same. They are now both own by the same big corporate, but it was like that before. Same stuff, same brand, same price.Home Depot? Beside the usual big brand stuff that everyone must have (GEA, Samsung, Weber, etc), they also have many home brand or partner exclusive brand like Ryobi or living long and you can find many parts that I never found at other place.As for the staff. I worked for 6 years in Reno Depot back on 2000, before the big Rona merger. In the first year working as a wood and mats + doors and windows, I had about 20 external paie formation to learn everything there is to know. People asked me question I could answer and I wasn't even out of college yet. Now? Unless the person you talk to is in the trade or old folks, they know nothing. And, they are nowhere to be find. Well, that's not the case at home Depot. Everyone I talked to at home Depot knows what they are talking about. And if they need help because aren't sure, they will tell you so and seek more advice for you.There's also a pro and pro extra membership (free). Oh, and you know that 30 day refund policy? How about 90 days basic refund, 365+ unlimited return on unused product even without the receipt (albeit way easier if you got it cause they'll try to find it) which can give you a gift card at worst? And as a pro member, you get 365+ refundable return.Oh and pro member can categorize everything they buy in different project right at the cashier and see online what they bought and even order more in each project.

The worse experience i had this time with this return policy.They are not honest with the customer while selling their products.First they tell they can return and when I went back to return they said they can't . I asked before purchasing and they said i can return with original bill.I did have everything but they called their supervisor IMAD and he said i can't return.I really never don't like the way they did as not being honest and lying. The worse customer service they had .

Normally a more pricey hardware store. I must admit there was plenty of staff and tons of activity. ai am so use to understaffing it was nice to see employees working.

Could not order from the website (due to an error that lasted for days), very long wait on the phone, unresponsive customer service chat, and ordering in store costs a fee. Not worth the trouble; I gave up on the (large) order and went elsewhere. Customer service is an area that HD seriously needs to invest in.

Nothing new here. Pretty much the same as any other Home Depot. We rented a carpet cleaner but the attachments weren't properly installed.

Excellent service on the behalf of Luca at the cutting center. He is extremely meticulous in his work...excellent cuts! Professional, helpful and concise. Home Depot is lucky to have him as an employee. Great service!
