“Travelling thru from Ontario. Asked for assistance in English and a very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating young adult came to our assistance. Made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed our conversation and her assistance.”
“Cassis Mona is a must in Quebec City. The sunset view over Île d’Orléans, the blackcurrant ice cream, the brie salad—everything is beautiful, everything is absolutely delicious.”
“Excellent business providing high quality brewing and fermentation supplies with the very best customer service. Every year I buy a special kit for cider making from La Fabrique du Vin that has to be shipped internationally. Chantal always makes sure it gets safely to me.”
“Probably, if not, the best beer convenience store in the greater Quebec region. The selection of microbrewery beers is impressive, with products from the four corners of the province, all carefully chosen and presented.
What is striking from the start is the long open refrigerators which cover almost the entire surface area. Everything is fresh and well preserved (we like that!), there is also a nice selection of artisanal ciders and hot sauces.
The welcome is warm, it is obvious that we are dealing with experts who know their inventory inside out. The advice is relevant and we leave with nice surprises.
The Malt Axis is an essential destination for beer lovers. I will undoubtedly come back during my next visit to Quebec. THANKS !
(Bonus points for the decoration and the huge Jelly Belly machine (the best!!)… too many temptations in this place :D)”
“(Translated by Google) The staff is always very welcoming, it's my favorite convenience store!(Original)Le personnel est toujours très accueillant, c'est mon dépanneur préféré!”
“The wines are well organized by country, and there is also a separate selection of Quebec wines. It closes at 8pm, so be sure to purchase in advance...
There are many whiskeys and other alcoholic beverages.
There isn't much beer. Buy it at the supermarket across the street.
No separate envelope provided, $1 wine carrier? You will need to purchase it separately”

“By far the SAQ that I recommend to everyone. Our sommeliers provide excellent advice! A wide variety of choices and frequent arrivals. Impossible to leave there disappointed.”
“Laurence prepared us a sock wine, thanks again! The honey, the freshness, the golden color and the exoticism of the wine allowed us to put our finger on the grape variety: it was indeed Chenin. I thought it was a dry Vouvray, but we weren't that far: a great Chenin from Touraine, not very far anyway. Great discovery.
Great SAQ!!”

“Local business which is very appreciated! There is a wide variety of products and it is always clean, other convenience stores should follow their example.
The staff is friendly and helpful”
“Small grocery store where you can find a little bit of everything. Quick meals, rice/pasta, snacks, breakfast essentials, sandwiches (which can be reheated), canned goods, drinks, soaps, some pastries too.
Very few vegetarian choices in fast meals and absolutely none in sandwiches, however.
Otherwise it's really very cute, the seller is more comfortable in English and he is very friendly with a big smile.”
“(Translated by Google) I will always take my pipe tobacco at Tremblay even if sometimes the owners misunderstand certain brands of tobacco, I still find them so friendly.(Original)Je vais toujours prendre mon tabacs a pipe chez Tremblay même si parfois les propriétaires comprennent un peu mal certaine marque de tabac je les trouve toujours aussi sympathique”
“While on vacation, my wife and I stopped in here to get a bottle for our hotel room. The selection of bourbon or whiskey was not great, but there was plenty to choose from and the price was were really good.”
“Cute, photogenic depanneur (corner store/ market) with cold drinks, food and a small sandwich bar. The owner is really nice, worth a detour off the main strip to grab a refreshment.”

“Fantastic selection of beers, lots from the area but also from all over Quebec. The prices are about what you'd expect, which is a nice surprise for such a touristy area. Staff is also very nice.”
“The best in the greater Quebec region. Good service and lots of product. That said, it remains an SAQ with its strengths and weaknesses. State companies are not always the best solution.”
“A very wide choice of alcohol. I particularly like the small bottles section which allows you to discover the products before buying a large one. The sellers give very good advice on whiskey and rums.”
“(Translated by Google) Customer service at the top! Good advice. And we don't forget his 6 inch sausage to go with the beer ?(Original)Service client au top ! Bon conseils. Et on n'oublie pas son saucisson 6 pouces pour aller avec la bière ?”
