“Love this central location. Close to so many amenities yet it’s not a super busy street. The rooms were massive- we had what was essentially a two bedroom with a full kitchen sitting area with a pullout couch and a large bathroom. Ideal for families. We had a little bit of an issue when first arriving with our reservation, but the staff was super accommodating. We ended up having another issue because of a protest that had started in the area but the hotel wasn’t given significant notice and it left us in a bit of a difficult situation in terms of being able to check out and get our car out of the garage but again the staff was super apologetic and accommodating. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool and Gym are lovely, well organized and quality continental breakfast included. I would highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay here again.”

“I'm inspired to write a review over how incredible our experience at the Intercontinental was this weekend. We only booked one night as a special treat for my 35th birthday.
I had emailed the hotel a couple months back requesting an early check-in. They let me know that they couldn't guarantee the early check-in, but that we were welcome to use the pool at 2pm when we dropped off our bags.
When we arrived, they confirmed that our room was ready early, and that we had been upgraded to the city view King suite on the 25th floor. I was thrilled about the early check-in, and the city view room was the cherry on top.
Once we had settled in, room service knocked on the door and delivered complimentary cheesecake, sparkling and still water, and a signed card for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise.
The hotel is beyond gorgeous. The lobby was offering complimentary hot chocolate for the holidays. Bar Sarah B is one of our favourites in Montreal. Le Fabrique de Bagel is just down the stairs in the concourse and has amazing bagels.
All in all, you really can't do better than the InterContinental. It has it all.”

“The room I stayed in was exceptional. The bed and view were to die for. But the highlight was the breakfast. A young dark-haired lady with glasses who served me, was very pleasant, very smiling and made my stay unforgettable. Thanks to her and all the hotel employees.”
“Nice welcome, but being asked if I speak English because the lunch attendant didn't speak French at all. I'm still in Montreal!!!!!
Rooms: Clean”
“Could do much better. Roll up the sleeves and straps this could be a superb site but which unfortunately remains under the sad period of covid in the energy go from the past of the nerves we saw.”
“The room has everything you need and clean. The staff are friendly. But no elevator/lift for this hotel. It is abit old but everything is good. The person preparing for breakfast is very efficient and replenish everything before it ran out as there were a big crowd. Waffles, potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage patties for breakfast. There are also cereals, bread/toast, juice, coffee/tea and yogurt.
Rooms: Clean double queen beds”
“Very nice hotel, very good standard! Clean and spacious room, rather well soundproofed despite the location close to the main roads, we did not hear any noise. The restaurant on site is excellent and the quality/quantity/price ratio is good!”
“Rooms: Rooms are clean and cozy. Heating is good.
Nearby activities: UQAM and St-Catherine street are less than 5 minutes away.
Walkability: Close to the subway station and in front of bus stop.
Restaurants are close and you can go to plenty of places within 15 minutes walking”
“Mauricio Villalobos contacted me prior to arrival and offered me VIP service and support. I felt like I had a friend, who. I could rely upon in a city I had never visited and felt apprehensive to navigate. Mauricio stayed in close contact and was attentive and friendly and made me feel at home and special. This type of attention is so important to travelers and builds loyalty. I am so appreciative.”
