“Love this central location. Close to so many amenities yet it’s not a super busy street. The rooms were massive- we had what was essentially a two bedroom with a full kitchen sitting area with a pullout couch and a large bathroom. Ideal for families. We had a little bit of an issue when first arriving with our reservation, but the staff was super accommodating. We ended up having another issue because of a protest that had started in the area but the hotel wasn’t given significant notice and it left us in a bit of a difficult situation in terms of being able to check out and get our car out of the garage but again the staff was super apologetic and accommodating. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool and Gym are lovely, well organized and quality continental breakfast included. I would highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay here again.”

“I'm inspired to write a review over how incredible our experience at the Intercontinental was this weekend. We only booked one night as a special treat for my 35th birthday.
I had emailed the hotel a couple months back requesting an early check-in. They let me know that they couldn't guarantee the early check-in, but that we were welcome to use the pool at 2pm when we dropped off our bags.
When we arrived, they confirmed that our room was ready early, and that we had been upgraded to the city view King suite on the 25th floor. I was thrilled about the early check-in, and the city view room was the cherry on top.
Once we had settled in, room service knocked on the door and delivered complimentary cheesecake, sparkling and still water, and a signed card for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise.
The hotel is beyond gorgeous. The lobby was offering complimentary hot chocolate for the holidays. Bar Sarah B is one of our favourites in Montreal. Le Fabrique de Bagel is just down the stairs in the concourse and has amazing bagels.
All in all, you really can't do better than the InterContinental. It has it all.”
“Food & drinks: This review is for the cafe only!My partner and I enjoyed our time at the cafe. The location is convenient and the space is cozy. I took one star away because the matcha was not great quality, but my partner enjoyed his cappuccino.”

“I stayed for a long stay the hotel staff all of the Daniel, Meganne , Martha , Brandon , lady with the cane , the 3 managers , the chef and kitchen staff . Cleaning crew all are there to make your stay very comfortable . Not too far from numerous parks a drive to downtown . There are plenty of great restaurants . The hotel has a decent menu . The location is not central but it pays off to have a parking available. All in all it was a pleasant stay id return anytime and recommend it for your stay.”

“Loved staying her in low season (March 2026) and was bumbed up to the top floor with very high arched ceilings giving it an airy feeling in an already large room (1012). Pleasant staff all around and we enjoyed the pleasant scent in the lobby and groovy tunes. Shout out to Diego in the 2nd floor Breakfast lounge with perfect service. Buffet spread plus tasty omletes / eggs on offer but at $35 plus tax and tip for both with bevies feels 5$ to 9$ over priced but the beauty of the building (architectural details and tasteful inside mod design) supported by a great location and pro staff helps you forget the food tab.”
“A good boutique Hotel right in the middle of Old Montreal downtown. Close to lots of things you want to visit.
Good size rooms. Clean and tidy and plenty of space.
There is a basic free breakfast on offer in the morning.
Valet parking is the only option if you wish to drive and park at the hotel.
The foyer looks a bit like hard Rock Cafe.”

“This place is great! Yassir, At the front desk was truly great! He went the extra mile to accommodate me,a very exhausted traveler whose card had been frauded and I was unraveling. He was super. The place is really nice and clean.
Salads for sale in the lobby.
Top notch.Free shuttle to the airport. Food in lobby is overpriced. Put me in a noisy room for second night. Airplanes overhead.”

“I was actually there for all day long professional courses for maintenance of licensing but the foyer entrance was very nicely set up and everything was well finished and the walk-through down to the various conference rooms was well done. Zero complaints. Plus they had handicap parking right near the front door which helped me a lot. Not much of an experience other than going to the washroom and that too was in mint, Perfect condition..”
“Could do much better. Roll up the sleeves and straps this could be a superb site but which unfortunately remains under the sad period of covid in the energy go from the past of the nerves we saw.”
“We're in the middle of our 6 night stay, no complaints. Front desk people vrey friendly, great location 5 minute walk to Champs-De-Mars metro, Couche-Tard convenience and about 10 minute walk to Complex Desjardins.”
“The W Montreal is a must stay hotel. One word - Mauricio! Call the hotel and ask for Mauricio W Insider! He is the best VIP Host I've ever worked with. The other staff members were also great. All members did a great job accommodating our requests. Mauricio made the stay stress free, memorable and gave us space to not feel chaperoned. The hotel is centrally located. I recommend the upgraded King bed room. The Le Vinyl Bar complements the style of the hotel and bar. You may not leave as the DJ spins all the classic hits! I'll be staying at the W Montreal during my next visit!”
