About Chez Doris
Chez Doris is a 24/7 shelter founded in 1977. It offers a refuge for vulnerable and homeless women in an inclusive and non-judgmental environment. It provides safety, protection, warmth, and an empathetic ear. The shelter meets basic and immediate needs: women can eat, take a bath, rest, sleep, exchange, share, do activities, and get dressed. It is a confidential and professional place where women can find neutral speakers who listen, guide, and help. The people there dedicate their time to help women feel valued and do their utmost best to help as much as possible. It is a recommended refuge for women in difficulty, in problematic living conditions or relationships, and for those who have no other refuge.
