“I’ve had many trainers growing up playing competitive sports and I can truly say Marv has been the best!! He has a deep understanding of what it means to be great and push yourself. Marv really cares about his athletes’ success and will get just as excited when you reach your goals! He’s helped me get to that next level in my game. Also love his gym, it’s very clean and private and allows me to get in the extra reps outside of my regular training as well. Highly recommend for young athletes!!”

“The gym, the programs and the teachers are great, I would easily give it a 5 star. But this is a gym that doesn't offer bike racks either outside or inside, which makes no sense. Several members go there by bike and have to attach their bikes to city poles.
Edit: a bike rack was installed ?? 5 stars!”

“Waverly Gym is a place I highly recommend. The coaches are not only knowledgeable, but also very attentive to each individual, emphasizing techniques to ensure safe progress. The atmosphere is very inclusive, which makes you feel comfortable from the first visit, regardless of your level.

Mike, the owner, is exceptional. He was very understanding when I got injured and helped me pause my membership with no hassle. What’s really great is that he understands injuries well and has been guiding me through my gradual return to the gym.

This gym is a real gem, with a personal and professional approach. I highly recommend giving it a try!””

“dropped in while in town for a couple days. great communication signing up to be a drop in. super easy process. then the coach was very approachable and friendly. more importantly so were the fellow athletes in the class. very clean space with all the equipment in great shape too. if you’re in the downtown montréal area and need a place to sweat i couldn’t recommend this box more. will be back. thank you!”

Since then, I've watched the popularity of his private gym grow with a broad variety of clientele, which is a testament to the great values that are built into this gym and the services they offer. Gym manager Nancy runs a tight ship over there and between her and Zachary, it's pretty much guaranteed that all your health and fitness needs will be met and improved when you visit them.”

“I’ve been training with Alex for a while now, doing private boxing sessions 1-2 times a week—and I honestly look forward to every one. He goes above and beyond, always reaching out at the start of the week to check in and book my sessions, which makes staying consistent so much easier.

Alex strikes the perfect balance between being super encouraging and pushing you to your limits. He makes you feel completely comfortable, even if you’re new to the sport, but still challenges you to level up every time.

What stands out most is how kind, genuine, and professional he is. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and their progress. Overall, just amazing service and a really solid human being. Can’t recommend him enough! ?”

“SimplyFit is simply the best. After switching through multiple gyms and fitness centres, I joined almost a year ago. I’ve never felt more heard while voicing my goals and getting my program. Kevin Leitch is an amazing trainer, a delight to learn from, and will never fail to bring your energy up! When I’m feeling down, he ensures I’m back on track and sends me home with some wisdom :) Kevin Frost, the owner is so lovely and helpful, mind you he will make sure you don’t whine while you work out! The best attitude and support to have around.

The environment is really friendly, beginner or not. Vanessa and Linden are always fun and the community is very supportive as a whole. Been here almost a year, and I don’t see myself switching again, unless something forced me to move from Montreal.”

“The gym is spacious with enough room for a good workout. The staff is professional and kind. They speak both English and French. It is a well maintained gym, clean and nice washroom/ shower area. They have Taekwondo classes that I have yet to try. They have personal training which is amazing! I was supported and guided by Anthony personal trainer pre pregnancy and during my pregnancy to keep fit and I highly recommend him!

There is a large space at the back that I was able to enjoy and practice yoga during my pregnancy! Highly recommend! ??‍♀️

“I’ve been going to OT Fitness, this gym in particular, for more than a year and I love it. I like the variety of the training. It pushes me to work on sprints (which I don’t when I jog outside) and do strength-based exercises with weights (instead of my usual calisthenics exercises). I also appreciate the flexibility of the owner and staff. I’ve moved classes last minute, and they have always been super comprehensive.”
