“Mauricio Villalobos contacted me prior to arrival and offered me VIP service and support. I felt like I had a friend, who. I could rely upon in a city I had never visited and felt apprehensive to navigate. Mauricio stayed in close contact and was attentive and friendly and made me feel at home and special. This type of attention is so important to travelers and builds loyalty. I am so appreciative.”

“Love this central location. Close to so many amenities yet it’s not a super busy street. The rooms were massive- we had what was essentially a two bedroom with a full kitchen sitting area with a pullout couch and a large bathroom. Ideal for families. We had a little bit of an issue when first arriving with our reservation, but the staff was super accommodating. We ended up having another issue because of a protest that had started in the area but the hotel wasn’t given significant notice and it left us in a bit of a difficult situation in terms of being able to check out and get our car out of the garage but again the staff was super apologetic and accommodating. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool and Gym are lovely, well organized and quality continental breakfast included. I would highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay here again.”

“I'm inspired to write a review over how incredible our experience at the Intercontinental was this weekend. We only booked one night as a special treat for my 35th birthday.

I had emailed the hotel a couple months back requesting an early check-in. They let me know that they couldn't guarantee the early check-in, but that we were welcome to use the pool at 2pm when we dropped off our bags.

When we arrived, they confirmed that our room was ready early, and that we had been upgraded to the city view King suite on the 25th floor. I was thrilled about the early check-in, and the city view room was the cherry on top.

Once we had settled in, room service knocked on the door and delivered complimentary cheesecake, sparkling and still water, and a signed card for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise.

The hotel is beyond gorgeous. The lobby was offering complimentary hot chocolate for the holidays. Bar Sarah B is one of our favourites in Montreal. Le Fabrique de Bagel is just down the stairs in the concourse and has amazing bagels.

All in all, you really can't do better than the InterContinental. It has it all.”

“Food & drinks: This review is for the cafe only!My partner and I enjoyed our time at the cafe. The location is convenient and the space is cozy. I took one star away because the matcha was not great quality, but my partner enjoyed his cappuccino.”

“I stayed for a long stay the hotel staff all of the Daniel, Meganne , Martha , Brandon , lady with the cane , the 3 managers , the chef and kitchen staff . Cleaning crew all are there to make your stay very comfortable . Not too far from numerous parks a drive to downtown . There are plenty of great restaurants . The hotel has a decent menu . The location is not central but it pays off to have a parking available. All in all it was a pleasant stay id return anytime and recommend it for your stay.”

“The room I stayed in was exceptional. The bed and view were to die for. But the highlight was the breakfast. A young dark-haired lady with glasses who served me, was very pleasant, very smiling and made my stay unforgettable. Thanks to her and all the hotel employees.”

“What an extraordinary stay! A first for us, to treat ourselves to a night at the hotel with our two dogs before our flight to the Dominican Republic. Just a big WOW! Very comfortable room, moderately spacious but very well thought out, enough space for our dogs' two cages, a coffee corner, plenty of pressure in the shower, soundproof windows, extremely charming and helpful staff, restaurants nearby offering a free shuttle, plus the airport shuttle with a super friendly and helpful driver, we'll definitely be going back, it's part of our winter departure ritual!

Rooms: Very clean and well thought out. Soundproof windows, we slept like babies! In addition, our dogs were allowed. A fabulous evening and overnight stay before heading off for the winter.

Nearby activities: Restaurants in the surrounding area, including Restaurant Bar Foccacio, offer a free shuttle to and from! It was absolutely fantastic.

Safety: Very safe.

Noteworthy details: Dogs are accepted, and even more, they are welcome (for a cleaning fee of $75, which is understandable). What a relief for us, who have two!”

“I was actually there for all day long professional courses for maintenance of licensing but the foyer entrance was very nicely set up and everything was well finished and the walk-through down to the various conference rooms was well done. Zero complaints. Plus they had handicap parking right near the front door which helped me a lot. Not much of an experience other than going to the washroom and that too was in mint, Perfect condition..”
