About Marois et Frères
Marois et Frères is a well-known vendor located at Atwater Market, specializing in honey, vegetables, and Quebec garlic. Customers appreciate the wide variety of honey available, including wildflower, clover, creamy, blueberry, and honeycomb, which is also called “honey cake.” The honey is considered very good and is often purchased in large sizes, such as buckets, offering good value for money. Many customers enjoy the different tastes and appreciate the natural, local quality of the honey from Quebec. Besides honey, the stall offers a range of vegetables, including squash and other produce, all at competitive prices. A highlight for many visitors is the garlic, priced at 2 for $5. Customers find the garlic to be large and of high quality; when fried, it becomes crunchy outside and soft inside—much better than supermarket garlic. The stall is located in the open section at the very end of Marche Atwater, and visitors often mention the friendly and exceptionally nice lady who runs it. Overall, Marois et Frères is praised for its good products, reasonable prices, and friendly service, making it a popular spot for those seeking quality honey, vegetables, and Quebec garlic.

I bought a basket of field tomatoes (a little over 2 pounds) for which I paid $8.00, but at all other merchants, the price is $5 for this quantity, at this price, I thought the quality would be much better, unfortunately that is not the case. Shame !
