“For vacation I was visiting Montreal from Boston, and the long walks were resulting in significant ankle pain - to the extent that walking was painful on both feet. A quick Google search showed that my condition was not unusual and was likely due to an issue with my gait or tendonitis - either way, different shoes may help. I went into the store with minimal knowledge. Antoine patiently endured my questions, brought half a dozen pairs to try, and ultimately outfitted me with highly cushioned running shoes. As a result, I was able to walk for the following days with greatly reduced pain. With more research since my return home, it became clear that Antoine had sold me what I needed rather than what I had asked for. "Thanks" to Antoine and Endurance for saving my vacation.”

My absolute, without a doubt FAVORITE shoe is the Skechers Winsor Moreno Black. I would buy them all the time and wear them until the soles were worn all the way through. Well, Skechers discontinued that shoe a few years ago and I could not find them anywhere. The thought of buying a used pair off ebay (eww) was a line I would NEVER cross. Anyway, after coming across a bunch of online stores that said they carried the shoe, but worrying me because they had really shady looking websites, I came across J Scherter's website. I did a google search and found that it was an actual store. That was a plus! Further google searches revealed that it was a family owned store...I love family businesses - Another plus! Then I saw it was in Canada. I would have stopped right there but they had my shoes....my favorite shoes! The price was comparable to other sites which were sold out, so I figure "why not"...
They accept PayPal payments on their site.....awesome! I bought the shoes, and immediately received an email from J Schreter that the order was received and that I would get follow ups when shipped. I got the follow up the next morning with the tracking info. After that I got periodic PayPal updates on where the shoe was while en route. Fast forward 5 days and they arrived at my door safe and sound! The shoes were in their original Skechers shoebox and there was even a thank you note from the current owner, Steve Schreter.”

“I just received more excellent customer service from Taygra - so much that I am adding to my original review.I had to return a pair of shoes due to sizing, and the refund was incorrectly issued to a gift card instead of my original form of payment. I emailed Taygra to request a correction to the issue, and I heard back within an HOUR that they'd corrected the problem. Absolutely AMAZING customer service - so much that it prompted me to update my review, which is something I rarely do.If I'd been dealing with 99% of the companies in this world, I would've had to call customer service, deal with an incredibly frustrating automated system, likely wait on hold, explain the situation to a customer service representative, then wait for another week for the issue to be resolved. Nope, not with Taygra. They not only resolved the issue immediately, they also made it incredibly efficient and it took hardly any effort or time to resolve it. “Rarely these days do you get the level of customer service and top notch experience provided by Johnny on my recent visit to his store . I went with my wife and brother looking for a pair of cowboy boots and Johnny’s hands on service and no pressure attitude was awesome , he had all 3 of into beautiful pairs of boots in minutes , with so many options to pick from (over 2000) in store there is something for everyone .
