“I am doing a lot of renovations and I need specialized products on a regular basis. Lately, I repainted kitchen cabinets and replaced the hinges. Finding the correct hinges was difficult as Home Depot had led me to buying the wrong ones. Gabriel from Azores took the time to understand what I needed and ordered the correct hinges from Richelieu. The hinges were delivered the next day as his chauffeur picked up the item at the warehouse. Service is simply extraordinary and makes Azores stand from the rest. It is an old-style family business and all the people I talked to were friendly and very helpful (Merci Paolo!). I highly recommend AZORES if you are looking for a hardware store and especially if you need advice as to what to buy.”
“Truly amazing store with the most abundant selection of wood species I’ve ever seen. Any and all wood home projects can start here. Designed a library and built it using wood from here. They have a respectable delay period for servicing brut.

“This is my go-to hardware store from now on. I was commissioned to paint some melamine cabinets, I've never done that before, and after doing loads of online research I visited de Grosbois for the first time, then a variety of the big paint stores around the city for prices and such.. ended up coming right back de Grosbois.
The expertise the staff gave was top-notch, the Adhero 290 was water-based which was important for me and the price was better or on par with the big paint stores, the sandpaper selection blew me away, I wasn't expecting the Swiss-made metal+ sandpapers in various grits, nor the fabric-backed sandpapers in a small shop, and definitely not at a good price (which they were!)
For every question I asked I got responses that aligned with my research. The Adhero 290 primer worked very well undiluted with my 600w electric spray gun, and the MF kitchen and bathroom paint was perfectly colour-matched to the card number and adhered perfectly to the primer. I received only good service in this little shop.”

“I waltzed in today to buy a bath plug. Last night, I accidentally stabbed my former bath plug with a butter knife while trying to remove it. Anyways, I came into this small quincallerie de quartier looking lost as a puppy, but an employee offered help and guided me to the bath plug section. Lots of choice. I got what I needed!
