“I am a new customer at Avril I wanted specific grocery and protein supplements that I can’t find anywhere else. I live in Montreal and came to the Laval location because it was the closest one to me. I was there Saturday and had started my shopping when I was approached by a man whose name was Joe. He helped me find the supplements and a good protein brand that were on special. He also showed me around the store to familiarize myself for next time. Great experience and customer service, well worth the detour, will definitely come back. Thank you.”
“One if not the cleanest Metro in Laval. Clean ailes, clean cash counter. The conveyor belts are frequently cleaned.
Friendly staff, energetic and quick. Easy returns or replacement for any quality issues. Plenty of parking space.”

“I accompanied a lady from our church to help her with her grocery shopping. After looking over the payment details, I thought there might be an error, so I returned to the store to have the transaction reviewed. Even though I had misplaced my receipt, the cashier and staff welcomed me with kindness, respect, and genuine professionalism.
They patiently reviewed everything, explained the charges clearly, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable.
In the end, every item had been billed correctly, and the misunderstanding was entirely mine. I truly appreciate the patience, courtesy, and excellent customer service shown by the entire team.
My sincere thanks to the staff and management for their outstanding professionalism and commitment to treating customers with respect. It is rare to experience such exceptional service, and it deserves to be recognized. Keep up the excellent work!”

“Update unfortunately the removal of the scanners is deplorable (-1 star). And the freshness of fruits/vegetables is not always carefully checked, I came across items that were already rotten.
Update The addition of a scanner to pre-save articles is simply brilliant. You pack only once and no surprises at checkout, the total is calculated, it's the ultimate experience.
Metro well kept clean fresh products friendly staff. Experience what I expect from a Metro. I really like the self-service checkouts.”

“I went around 9:30 p.m. There was only a few patrons. This is not the grocery store I usually go to so I had difficulties finding quickly my items. Unfortunately like at every Super C a lot of the products on sale were missing. The cashier was pleasant, the price was fair”

“We recently started shopping at this Metro since it’s one of the only grocery stores open past 9 PM, and it’s quickly become our go-to. We’ve been coming here for a couple of months now and really enjoy it. It’s a large store with a great selection and much more variety compared to other grocery stores nearby.
It’s especially convenient on days when we have training and can’t make it earlier—being open until 10 PM makes a big difference. Even on days when we could go somewhere closer, we often choose to come here because of the quality and range of products. They carry a lot of items that are hard to find elsewhere.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for variety and later shopping hours!”
“Actual humans work at this store. I’ll never set foot in Maxi because it’s a stressful experience, but I actually enjoy shopping here and not feeling like cattle. Prices are not higher, especially if you shop the sales. Love love love the staff who work here and the overall shopping experience.”
