“Unexpected, but absolutely thankful. An old, famous, restaurant turned into an exceptional grocery store specialising in Persian (Iranian) goods. The restaurant decor is preserved, the foodstuffs are comprehensive. The boxes of pastries and cookies (aka sweetmeats, biscuits) are wonderful with their scented Iranian heritage. Don't walk pass this magical store where old and new are balanced equally and successfully.”

“Briefly stopped here to buy some essentials during our family trip from out of town, and I found their produce fresh and well-stocked, and the cost of commodities pretty reasonable. Staff (one at the self-checkout area and at the customer service desk) were both helpful and accommodating. Location-wise, it's accessible and has light traffic around.
I would give it a 4 now, and perhaps my next visit it could be a 5.”

Comment regarding Maxi... the new "promotion" with the stamps, the employees of 3 different Maxi were more or less informed of how it works and/or gave false information... no more Maxi stamp patents for me, ...”
