“100% professional....I'm going back to school and I needed an account for students to receive my loans and scholarships....just like my partner....we were dear to Desjardins and we have received the worst service ever seen for a bank....a little taken by surprise after being refused dear Desjardin....I went to Royal Bank without an appointment and received the help I I needed to start my new life again....and they agreed to open the Student account for my partner and me...and even $100 for some operations to be carried out.....thank you Royal Bank.. ..I recommend it to everyone”

“Honestly, the team and the director are a gem.

I have always had excellent service at this branch. Even with frequent employee changes, my advisor or his replacement always called me back within 24 hours.

For my part, I really appreciated that in 2020, when interest rates dropped, one of the advisors called me to suggest that I pay a penalty in order to change my rate. This allowed me to go from 3.47% to 1.85% for 5 years. I would never have thought of it, and it allowed me to
save on my mortgage. It's one of the rare banks where the employees want to save me money.

Regarding the negative comments, I'm not surprised. Most come from conspiracy theorists and people who refuse to use online services. These are the same people who complain when there are no employees available 24/7. Welcome to 2024.

There is often a queue, but I am sure that 95% of the people at the counter have nothing urgent and could do their transactions online. In ten years, I have only used the counter once to buy my car. Many choose to wait out of habit and then are surprised by the wait time, which sums up 80% of the bad reviews.”
