I went there today to get a table lamp. And the employee who answered me was beyond friendly and helpful.He even recommended what kind of bulb to use. Really happy with the good service.Big change to a competitor that I'm just going to say is a "Tired Canadian" where customer service is practically absent. ?Then the lamp looks really awesome on my dresser. ?EDIT: Always great service I receive here. ?

Sold extremely low quality goods (unusable) and completely refused a refund. Very nice people, but unacceptable policies.

I got ripped off, yesterday, by the old bearded employee who works in the woodshop, inside the back of the store. He cut a piece of plexiglass for me, two slabs (meaning 2 cuts) saying it will cost 4.50 for 4 slabs (because his boss will get upset for doing a small job. I said okay, thinking it's only 4.50).On the invoice, he wrote he did 2 cuts and handed me the paper to give to the cashier. When I realized I was exaggeratedly overcharged, I asked the cashier to call the bearded guy over to explain. He made a scene and embarrassed me in front of everyone, making me look like I misunderstood, claiming he told me the price beforehand; when in reality he tricked me. He told the cashier it was 4 cuts; so why did he write 2 cuts on the invoice? And to make matters worse, the cashier also made a scene. So, for 2 pieces of 4 inch slabs, 1/4 inch thick, plus labour 7 mins. (to cut the piece), and taxes...cost me $30!!! This was the second time, he tricked me like that. The first time he kept saying the same thing, that he cannot do small jobs otherwise the boss will get upset. So, instead of refusing to do small jobs, he decides to overcharge clients so that his boss won't be upset. Unbelievable.

Don't come here if you need a paint match. I brought in a sample to get some paint to cover up some filled in holes and the paint is completely wrong. I used what they gave me and it's turning out like a cream on bright white. How can you possibly get the colour that wrong when I brought you an exact match?

I’ve been coming reliably to this location for over a year, and generally have a pleasant experience. The staff member responsible for paints lacked tact, competence, and should would be better suited working without the public.The next time you question a price that a customer tells you, only to have them show you directly on the Rona website where they got that price from, maybe brainstorm different ways to respond other than condescendingly.

The prices in store do not match prices online. The product I wanted to purchase was over 10$ more than the price listed online. Unbelievable.
