“Owner was amazing, she has a great collection and is so nice. She gave me recommendations for a beautiful blouse that completed my prom outfit (she also gave me washing/handling advice for a victorian skirt which was very helpful) and showed me and my partner her sterling silver collection that was so unique. Also she has a very cute old dog that loves being pet, its just a very charming place overall, I will be going here again, if I could give it 6 stars I would.”
“Walking into this place is like a literal feast for the eyes! Every corner is visually alive—textures, colors, and details layered in a way that feels intentional but effortless. It’s welcoming and warm, nostalgic without being dusty, and cool in that quiet, confident way. You can tell a lot of love went into the layout—nothing sterile, nothing rushed, just good energy and great taste.. What really seals it, though, is Annie and Doug! Genuinely rad, friendly, and easy to talk to—the kind of people who make you feel like you belong there even if it’s your first visit. You can tell this space is a reflection of them: thoughtful, warm, and full of good energy!”
“This hidden gem in Swansea is a must-visit for anyone who loves high-end finds without the high-end price tag. This isn't your average consignment shop; it's a treasure trove of quality pieces, from designer handbags and clothing. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it possible to get something truly special without bank. Absolutely a five-star experience!”
“I was at Urban Thread months ago. With my son shopping for men’s clothes. What a wonderful and special place. The staff are great. Helpful and know fashion. The prices reasonable. The quality - excellent. Thank you and I hope others support this shop.”
“A fun antique mall with lots of different vintage/antique items! It’s set up with booths by different owners, so there’s a good variety of items and prices. There are three floors to check out and a large clothing section on the main floor. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our visit!”
“Best priced vintage store! Only vintage store in the state with vast knowledge of clothing trends and styles throughout the 1900’s and early 2000’s, doesn’t price things at outrageous prices always reasonable I’ve purchased items for $80 that were worth 300+!! Wonderful attitude and real with her customers as well!”
“I love this shop. Last time in, Sabrina was so incredibly helpful in walking me through some ways to style items I was eyeing in the store. They were patient, friendly, and welcoming.
For those looking for a boutique with larger ranges in sizes without compromising style, this is it!”
“I had a great time shopping here. I bought a Cuisineart waffle iron, a necklace, and a Christmas decoration. There is stuff here you don't know you need yet!”
“I have been to Luca a few times and absolutely adore it! It's my favorite spot to look for hidden treasures for my toddler. They have a beautiful selection of clothing, great brands, and very friendly staff.”
“A cute little vintage and antiques store! There’s a nice selections of clothes and a nicely curated collection of wares. The owner was friendly and it was a great spot to look around!”

“Antiques, trinkets, and collectables. Very eclectic assortment of items. Surely something for everyone. This place is intended for those familiar with quality. In other words, if you're thinking you will get a $500 piece of furniture for $50...this is not the place. Items are priced to move, but only at fair market value.
Remember the old addage: you get what you pay for.”
“My favorite neighborhood antique store. Always a terrific selection of Estate clothing. As with any resale, just watch out for clothing wear and tear before buying. Knowledgeable staff.”
“This place is one of the best examples of what we need antique stores for. The objects that Adam collects and sells are full of narrative, wit, surprise, and history and while walking around the shop you'll realize that your face has changed expressions against your will many times over. Adam is polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's difficult to leave empty handed.”
“Amazing place. Seriously, you need it they will have it, had it, getting it, or wait a bit and check again. Nice people.
Don't pet the animals hahaha 🤣😂”
“This is a jam packed store with lots of treasures to discover. It is a bit larger than it first appears. The only downside is that they have so many items it is difficult to navigate isles without the fear of knocking into things.”
“Home Again gets an awaking selection of the most beautiful pieces of furniture and home decor you could ever want. John the owner has an eye for quality and great value. I love going here and many of my home furnishings come from here. His service is impressive. He also does estate sales that are always fun to go to and have beautiful items.”
“I walked in thinking I would be in/out and ended up with 4 gorgeous pieces 1 hour later! Every rack had great pieces. Everything is clean, ironed and great quality. I was reading reviews about items being overpriced — I didn’t find it to be so. Everything is really unique and I am super picky. It’s dangerous going in but my closet is thankful for the additions! Taking my husband in next because they have a great selection for men too. Definitely try it out! Love it here!”
“If you’re looking for a place where customer service is… selectively enthusiastic, this is the spot for you! My friend was admiring a Jellycat—one she’s actually purchased multiple times from this exact store—when the staff member (pictured!) made a bold announcement to the entire store: “If you’re holding a Jellycat, please put it back.”
Mind you, no one else was even near any Jellycat display—just us. What timing! So lucky!
It was especially heartwarming to see how other (white) customers were browsing freely, untouched by such helpful reminders. It’s nice to know there’s such consistency in how people are treated—depending on who they are.
So if you’re white, you’ll feel right at home here! Everyone else—make sure not to look too interested in anything, or you might just get a public service announcement dedicated to you.
Highly recommend—for the anthropological experience alone.”
“Here to offset some of the negative reviews based on my experience yesterday. Went to the store, found a bunch of vinyl that was really reasonably priced. There was some stuff that was overpriced in my opinion, but the reasonably priced stuff more than made up for the overpriced stuff. When I got the albums home I found a couple that had some scuffs, and the owner said just bring them back and I could swap them out with some others that were there (there were doubles in store). This is my kind of place for buying old classic rock records. Bins full of cool stuff, some in great shape and some not so much. So go and hunt for the good stuff, it's like going to a yard sale. But the prices and service was solid overall and the owner was very understanding.”
“This is the first time me and my husband came to a random thrift store, the goods we got were good and the service was also friendly. we just moved from Texas 2 weeks ago.
Looks like we'll come again to buy some stuff.
Thank you and God bless you”
“I’d never heard of this store until my 14 year old came home with a pair of $225 sneakers that she had no business buying. I immediately went back to the store with her and explained the situation (and her mental state which lead to this unreasonable purchase). The gentlemen in the store asked made me aware of the no return policy but due to the situation surrounding this purchase (no need to go into detail) they allowed the return. All of the store associates were very nice and understanding. I’d support them again.”
“The store has been reinvented by the manager, Janeen and all the fabulous workers who greet you with a smile and friendly demeanor! They have removed the tattered items that have no business being on the racks and offer a cleaner, more affordable shopping experience...if you're interested in thrift/second-hand shopping....worth checking out!!”
“First off I must say the staff at Encore are very friendly and funny. If they had a reality show I would absolutely watch it.I heard about Encore through word of mouth in the community. It's located on the basement of St John's Episcopal Church (across the street from the Shaws). The have ample off street parking and the basement entrance does have stairs. The prices were all very reasonable and every piece they have available is in perfect condition and season appropriate. They accept cash (check and cards are also accepted for purchase over $20). I was able to purchase nearly $75 of clothing and accessories for $26 and the money goes right back to the sellers and the community. Please support this consignment shop and the team of women of who run and sell the items.”
