Pottery Barn is a well-known home furnishings retailer that has been in business for over 70 years. The company was co-founded in 1949 by Paul Secon and his brother Morris, who discovered a surplus of pottery from a factory in New York. The brand was later acquired by Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in 1986, and its mail-order catalog was first published in 1987. The Pottery Barn store in Garden City, Cranston, RI is generally praised for its well-made, stylish, and fairly-priced products. Customers appreciate the store's large selection, especially during the holiday season when the decorations are particularly impressive. The staff is often described as helpful, though some customers have noted that it can be difficult to find an employee to assist with questions. The Garden City location is said to have ample parking, and customers enjoy the convenience of being able to buy online and pick up in-store. While some customers have reported minor issues, such as a confusing phone call, the overall sentiment towards this Pottery Barn store is positive, with one long-time shopper describing it as a "wonderful place to shop."
Great place. Placed order late one night and they had it ready by next day for me. They were so helpful

Service is terrible here. No one smiles or even asks if you need help. They make you feel very unwelcome and don’t even thank you for the business. A great advertisement to buy online or elsewhere. Other stores in Garden City that are competitors and much nicer.
