“J&S is hands down the best mechanic we have ever used. My car stopped running and we had to have it towed to J&S Auto Repair. They communicated with me often and sent a thorough and easy to understand email with a quote of what needed to be fixed. The email had items color coded based on what was urgent and wasn’t. I was able to confirm and sign via email which was very convenient.
A day or two after I picked up our car I started to hear a squeal noise. After a call they squeezed me in. It ended up being a little dirt or water on a belt. They cleaned it and added lube while I waited (under 10 min). They were thoughtful when hearing about my concern. So so impressed with them. We will be bringing our cars here when needed and I would recommend you do as well, you won’t regret it.”

“This place is amazing they have so much knowledge. I called today which I believe is December 11 spoke with a woman on the phone very very polite and helpful with my problem.. So my problem is, I had my transmission rebuilt at another shop because my truck broke down and I could not have it towed to Rhode Island. The shop that rebuilt the transmission is having a problem downloading their program. She walked me through a procedure for them to try like I said they did not rebuild my transmission, but they were there to answer my question. Totally appreciate it. I would highly recommend them.”

“My 2005 BMW 645ci would not go in reverse and also had slipping issues going forward. I learned quickly not many places worked on BMWs and the few that did were incredibly expensive just to do a diagnostic test. Rob's asked me what I was experiencing and set up an appointment to have a free diagnostic test. He contacted me and explained exactly what was wrong, and at a price that was far less expensive than I could have imagined. He notified me as soon as the car was ready. A week later I receive call from Rob's asking how the car is running. Who Does That!

“They told me they can not get parts for my cars transmission but then told me that it might be covered under Nissan factory warranty then called both local Nissan dealers and made sure it was covered. They saved us approx $4000
This was not the first experience with them they do quality work.
I just used them again in 2024 he didnt fix the miss fire but he got me in the right direction and said my transmission was OK. He also charged me a very fair price.. He probably could have told me my truck transmission was bad and sold me one... Very honest shop..”

He expedited the replacement as soon as parts became available and even discovered a broken motor mount and replaced that for us too.
He even offered to deliver it back to Massachusetts for us! Great customer service! ☆☆☆☆☆”
