“This was the best customer service experience during our whole home renovation. Marc and his son Jeff were responsive and took care of us through the whole process. I needed glass for my kitchen cabinets and they ordered and installed it. Our shower needed a glass surround, they came out with their team and took the measurements, ordered the glass and made sure the shower enclosure hardware matched the other fixtures in our bathroom. It was their kindness , communication and attention to detail that made these projects possible. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else for glass or hardware needs. To top it off, it’s a locally family owned business so as a business owner it just makes sense. Can’t wait to start the basement renovations.”

“This place is great. The prices are consistently lower than Homedepot and they offer much more selection. You can get just about any PVC trim here and all the correct fasteners. A&R sells many high quality items that are not available at the box stores and they have the knowledge to guide you towards the correct products for your job. I have bought everything from Unilock pavers, wire mesh for concrete, rebar, stain grade interior window casing, cedar clapboard siding without finger joints, stainless nails, Schlage door knobs, granite mailbox post and property markers, charcoal metal siding I used on my ceiling in my garage, grass seed , wood pellets for my pellet stove etc. A&R can get many species of wood and rough sawn wood. I have also bought railroad ties and landscape timbers to hold crane parts off the ground for long periods. I cannot think of another place to buy railroad ties. I am looking forward to coming here many years to come for all my future projects!”

We ordered a lot of Timbertech railings and deck boards from Paul at Home Depot in Seekonk and he ordered round ballisters and railings that fit square ballisters. I had to speak to the top Home Depot manager to get my money back because everyone else at Home Depot said we cant get our money back because we should have checked the order before we bought it. Isn't that Pauls job in special products... to make sure hes ordering the right stuff that fits? Eddie knew what we wanted and matched Home Depots price AND had it delivered in a week. Even better..their delivery driver called and asked if we had sprinkler heads near our driveway. We do so he walked the products to the garage. WTH! Great, great service. “My family made the mistake of hiring a gypsy plumber to install a water heater when we first moved into the area. The indirect water heater was still under warranty and the manufacturer helped trace us back to this supply house.Jim Seabaugh helped facilitate the entire transaction since the plumber was MIA.He manages the store, he’s a hard worker and he’s been at this location for years. He knows his stuff. If he doesn’t know; he will find out.I am so grateful to have had an unfortunate blessing in disguise. I call Jim for all our plumbing needs now. I 100% trust his opinion and he has not steered us wrong on 3 separate jobs. I’ve known him for years and he’s bailed us out each time.”

“I went looking for some small screws to finish a project and there was two employees in the aisle putting stock away. Here’s the interesting part: the older kid (20 ish) was teaching the other (high school age) about the difference types of heads and the grading system of bolts and material types. I was very impressed with both of them. The older one for teaching (accurately) and the other (younger one) for paying attention and learning. I’ve always liked this store and this just served to remind me why.”

And I bought $120 worth of more stuff i needed, at the same time.... Shop step stool, metric ratcheting wrenches, hitch equipment for my zero turn to pull a leaf rake; you name it.”

“I haven't had a bad experience at this store, but I docked it a star just for the parking lot. It's horrible, always a traffic nightmare and there really isn't much parking in front of the store. Trying to cross the main "road" in front of the store is taking your life in your own hands. The Brockton and Braintree locations are better in that regard. I wouldn't trust Harbor Freight merch for life-safety, i.e. jackstands (they had a recall in the past) or a safety harness, go with a reputable brand name for that stuff. This place shines for tools that you're going to use once a year or for a one-off job. My 5 year old Chicago saw is still alive and kicking and has seen plenty of use though, so you never know how it'll work out.”

“Got these as a birthday present, and was initially disappointed. But after learning that I was running them improperly I started to use them on a higher RPM impact drill. wow what a difference. These work spectacular now. A friend of mine recently bought a set after using mine and it looks like on the box, it has that you need a fast drill and a speed chart now. Very satisfied overall.”

We also wanted to compare prices to the big box stores to get the most bang for our buck.. we were happy with what we saw and ended up going to the East Providence location to buy our vanity only because the order at the Warwick location was 10 days late with an unknown arrival time. There is a lot to see here, great prices and selection. Worth it if you're in the market for bathroom, kitchen or window ideas.”
