“Stayed here for the first time since we had our wedding reception over 20 years. They have done a great job with improvements to the hotel (it was really nice when we had our reception). Service was outstanding. We were greeted by everyone with a smile. Room was super nice and super clean. Had drinks at the restaurant at nightThe bartenders were so nice to us. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back before another 20 years passes. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a great stay.”
“What a great hotel! Stayed here with my husband and two toddlers for a winter weekend getaway - we had plans to see the Providence Bruins and to get dinner on Federal Hill and wanted a hotel with an indoor pool - we found this gem 12 minutes east of Providence and had such a wonderful stay! Very clean and updated. The staff was great! Rose’s breakfast was outstanding! The pool was so warm and clean. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and a pull out couch. The boys slept comfortably on the sofa bed which was actually pretty comfortable! The king size bed was super comfortable. The hotel was very quiet - we will be back! We had no idea there was a giant arcade behind the hotel, so now we’re planning our next trip back!Rooms: Very clean and updated.Food & drinks: Rose put a lot of work into cooking a delicious breakfast and took great pride in everyone enjoying it. She brought over coloring pages and crayons for the kids. So yummy!”
“Absolutely loved this stylish, modern hotel in the heart of downtown Providence! We only stayed one night, but it was a memorable one. Valet parking is $40/night, though there’s nearby garage parking if you want a cheaper option.
The hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t check out the rooftop because of a private event, but the lobby bar more than made up for it—the cocktails were top-notch! Another fun feature: there’s a pool table and gaming room to keep you entertained.
Just a heads-up: the room is an open layout, so there’s no door between the glass shower/sink area (only the toilet has a door). That said, the room was spotless, the lighting was ideal for makeup, and the shower had excellent pressure, plus Drybar products, which was a cute touch.
All in all, we’d definitely stay here again—hoping next time to catch those rooftop views!”
“What a lovely Best Western. The cleaning crew does a fantastic job keeping the entire place clean. Great location with a lot of great restaurants very close to the hotel. The team there is so nice. Especially Manny, the overnight guy. Great movie recommendation!! Thank you to the owner & all for such a wonderful stay.”

“Rooms are very dark, and the bathroom is small with very little counter space. AC never got the room cool.
Pros: Beds are conformable, and shower is nice. The outdoor sitting area has a nice view of the river.”

“Room is clean. Staff is helpful and friendly- very approachable. Our room 417 was spacious and although it just looked out onto a rooftop it was fine. We had drinks a Fleur which was hopping all evening. Elevators are fast. Parking in garage next door for $20 a day.”

“Saw the negative reviews and was nervous, but I was EXTREMELY happy to be proven wrong. Rooms are very clean and modern. Location is great for a quick Uber to Providence. Rates are more than reasonable. The front desk staff were very friendly, accommodating, and quick to help. Ventilation was top notch and the air conditioner was very comfortable. It does not feel like you’re in a roadside motel, but a decent hotel. Very satisfied. Would recommend.”

“I’ve stayed at The Graduate a few times now, and I always have a great experience! The rooms are spacious and clean, especially the suites, and I love the decor. The lobby is stunning. They’ve blended classic and modern, and I love all of the nods to Providence’s history. Plus, the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel is walkable to many downtown restaurants, bars, and activities, including the Providence Place Mall, the AMP, and Federal Hill. It’s really the perfect location! The on-site bar is also great. I always look forward to weekend getaways here! There isn’t much information about parking online, and I like knowing this ahead of time, so this is how it works (as of 3/28/24):There is a parking garage behind the hotel called the Biltmore Garage. When arriving at the hotel, drive into the garage and either insert your credit card or take a ticket to enter. When checking in, you’ll receive a pass that will allow you to enter and exit the garage for the duration of your stay. The parking will be billed to the room. At the time of my trip, it was $33/night for parking. The parking garage is very close to the hotel. It looks like there is a walking bridge but it was closed when we were there. Overall, for parking in a city, it is not a bad setup.”
“Decent hotel if you're just looking to spend a night. Conveniently located around a variety of retail establishments and restaurants. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel. Room was quite comfortable and spacious.”
“The room was spotless and comfortable. The shower was great pressure and temperature wise. Service was very friendly and prompt. Couldn't beat the location for using PVD”

“I took coffee in the spacious lobby.
Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
I noticed it's a sparkling clean place.
Located In a marvelous location with Ocean view.”
“First it’s a boutique hotel so it’s going to be quirky. Room was small but I expected that. No drawers to put my clothes but the decor was different and interesting. Close to everything and the staff is amazing. Check out the speak easy and the karaoke bar.”
“Great experience! Traveled to Rhode Island for work and stayed here. The rooms were very clean. The service was great. On my first night just getting settled in I was very tired after a long trip, the young woman at the front desk night shift named Mariah was more than sweet, professional and very accommodating. Will be working here in the future and definitely staying here.
Thank you again Mariah!

“We've stayed in this location a few times. The location is amazing, you can walk anywhere you want/need, but it is set back so it feels private. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are updated and well kept. I LOVE the beds personally, they're a bit more plush. Parking seems limited and you do have to pay for it, but we haven't experienced any issues with it.
Safety: It is near the park and bus station.
Walkability: Providence is very walkable and this is very well located.”

“My Mom stayed there, she is disabled and in a wheelchair and with her cat, it is awesome to find a pet friendly hotel especially in an emergency and at short notice. The staff was so helpful. Everyone I met was very pleasant and nice. The whole place, including the room was clean and neat. The surroundings were beautiful. I would highly recommend. Thanks so much!”

“Apparently, all the bad reviews must have been written by regular guests of The Plaza (yes, that’s sarcasm). I honestly don’t see any other reason for so much negativity.
The price for this motel is very low, and you get exactly what you pay for. Sure, the furniture isn’t new and the rooms could use a little touch-up, but everything was clean, the sheets and towels were freshly washed, and there were absolutely no signs of bugs. The place also felt safe—I didn’t see a single drug addict or weirdo around.
I’m only taking off one star because the AC in our room wasn’t working, and on the very last day of our three-night stay, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working.
Overall, it’s a good budget motel that matches its price.”

“The room itself was kinda dirty, with random stains on almost everything.
The bed was comfortable and clean. I guess that's what you're ultimately paying for, a locked room and a place to sleep. That's about it. The staff doesn't even let you INTO the lobby, all business is through a tiny window.
Very close to great places to eat: Shannon's Place and Tacontiento.”

“This hotel is with in walking distance to the convention center. Starbucks is on the way as well. Parking is tricky and it was so much easier to park in the lot across the street. Bummed the rooms didn't have microwaves or mini fridges but the rooms were clean, towels were stocked and house keeping was amazing.”

“Needed a last min hotel with an accessible room with a roll in shower.
It was nothing fancy but for the price exactly what we needed for a quick night's rest.”
“I threw away my new registration when I got my new plates by mistake. I needed to get my car inspected and needed it. I didn't have an appointment but they got me in and out in a short period of time. Definitely saved the day for me.”
