Instead of jumping to writing prescriptions, she focuses on true well-being, using medication only when absolutely necessary. One of her most important tenets is foundational health, starting with the vital question: What is the dog eating? Her dedication to nutrition and preventative wellness kept my dogs thriving, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“I have been going to South Bay vet for about 4 1/2 years now. They have taken wonderful care of my dogs Zara and Ellie. In March, I had to have Zara put to sleep. Dr. Bowater and her staff were wonderful, accommodating us by performing the procedure in the back of my wagon. This was much better for Zara because she was such a nervous dog and was afraid to go into the office. They were compassionate, and it made her last moments much more peaceful.”

I remember bringing Boba in during COVID—even though I couldn't go inside with him, I heard her team singing to him while performing a biopsy. When the time came to say goodbye to Mr. Ryder, Dr. Holmes helped make an unimaginably heartbreaking experience as peaceful and dignified as possible. The compassion she showed during those final moments is something I will never forget.
Dr. Holmes and Dr. Springer are not only exceptional veterinarians but truly exceptional people. Their dedication, empathy, and love for their patients shine through in everything they do. I will always be grateful for the care they provided Ryder and for the comfort they gave me throughout his journey.
Thank you for loving Ryder and caring for him as if he were your own. The impact you had on his life, and on mine, will stay with me forever.
