HSL (shout out to Colleen) responded immediately to my requests, kept on the issues of locating the one beer type and helping choose how much beer -- how many kegs of what sizes -- and the party got just what we needed. “This is a medium-sized liquor store, but they have a pretty good selection, and have always been able to find something that appealed to me. It's well lit, clean, and every time I went in there, they were helpful and friendly. I was in today (2/7) to grab some beer and lottery tickets, and the same lady helped me as last time. I didn't remember to give her my phone number to apply the points, and she took the receipt and later applied them, happily I think, after the fact and I'd left. Many places wouldn't do that. My only complaint is that I keep asking for a winning lottery ticket, but haven't received one yet from her. :)”

“What an *actual* hidden gem!! I've been by this place so many times but never knew this store even existed. The front seems underwhelming but once you go in, it's one of the nicest, cleanest liquor stores I've been in. A perfect "one stop shop" if you're looking to make a nice dinner, grab some alcohol and even dessert. They have all kinds of specialty foods, meats, cheeses, ice cream etc. Along with EVERY kind of liquor you're looking for. High end tequila, craft beer, wine I mean this store has it all going on. Bonus points for the country music playing also. The prices were priced right on everything and I'm definitely impressed by such variety. The lady working was so cool, so sweet. This is for sure one of my new favorite places in the area I'll definitely be returning!!!”
“More beers than Beldar Conehead has teeth, lol. A knowledgeable, personable staff, a pretty darned deep selection of spirits, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere make B&C a genuine neighborhood establishment. I've been stopping in occasionally since Bill and his son Dennis owned the place, but since it's been under new ownership it's been just as comfortable to walk into and do business.If it were a bar it would be my regular watering hole. Hell, I'd quit drinking, but then I wouldn't have a reason to stop in!”

“Ordered two bottles of wine through Uber Eats. Upon ordering it showed a 30-40 minute delivery time. While waiting for the order, they added another 30 minutes to the delivery time. I called the store (per Uber instructions) and explained that I would not be available after a certain time. The store explained that my items would not be delivered by the time provided because they had not even started working on my order due to being “so busy.” She advised that I cancel my order. I did and Uber charged me for the items anyway because the store listed that they had already prepared my order before I canceled it. Dishonest business practices equals poor customer service.
Update: I want to thank Frandy for resolving g this matter. He was professional, courteous, and respectful. I have much appreciation for the discussion and the outcome.

“This is a great neighborhood store, has the staples of any liquor store however, dont let the decor confuse you; in the back is a leading Italian red section Ive been selfishly picking through for a year or more. The california red selection is beyond typical. Higher end wines can be found w some help, dont be afraid to ask. Solid variety of whiskey, rye, bourbon. ENJOY!”

“Prices continue to rise. It's a liquor store. Arent they all the same now, w a few touches or minuses. The only reason why the Haxton ones are a little better is because they offer a little more variety. But I do feel like the prices have come up a bit and you can get better deal at lesser known places. And the monopolies are the worst and put the smaller places under. So its a mixed opinion. They are clean and nice people so the 3 goes to a 4.”
