    “Love, love, LOVED our experience here!! I have not been on a bike since 2000, and I felt like a very long in the tooth kid riding it!😀 We were in Jamestown for a day’s exploit from Newport ( but visiting from NYC), and I knew we would need bikes to get to Beavertail State Park because it’d take too long walking. My husband and I don’t drive; we rely on trains and buses, and our feet to get places as much as possible so that we soak up nature and our surroundings as best we can. I can’t recommend this business enough! Friendly, professional, kind, accommodating. Everything you want, really, from an interaction. The warmth is genuine, the desire to help a customer is real and unforced. Seeing this beautiful part of Rhode Island from a bike saddle felt different than walking somehow. A solid 5-star experience and a huge thank you to this business!”

    “I visited Whitworth while in Newport over Thanksgiving, and even though I don’t live here, I have to say it’s my new favorite boutique! It’s a beautifully curated store and I fell in love with almost everything I tried on. The owner was so kind, and I felt comfortable and welcomed the entire time I was there, even as I was being indecisive trying on different things. I live in Philadelphia and we don’t have a boutique that compares. I’ll now go out of my way to support Whitworth in person when I visit and online!”

My family not only got some great gear to use sailing and day to day, but our experience was memoriable Virginia, was amazing, she was well versed in all of the products, was very helpful with my wife as she was selecting vests and other gear. She also guided us on other local attractions to check out with our kids. Going Above and beyond. We had actually left an item at the store and Virginia helped ship it back to us, with a lovely personal note. If anyone from **Gill Management** is reading this, know, you've got an amazing associate with Virginia. I reccomend anyone in Newport stop by the Gill store, they have great products and a team there that exceeds expectations.”

When we stopped in yesterday the same kind woman was here. I fell in love with a dress on the door but unfortunately she didn't have any in my size. That's okay it happens. She offered to order it for us and ship it but we passed on that option. I was able to find another dress I loved and bought it immediately. The kind woman who was here was an absolute delight and so pleasant. I loved getting to stop in and purchase something that I loved. The value retailer opened its first Minnesota store on Sept. 3 at Mall of America in Bloomington, close to 35,000 square feet stocked with Minnesota Vikings gear through the chain's NFL partnership.
