“Looked several places in Narragansett and this place had a sign everyone else closed or sparse stores for a tourist area?! So stopped here. Got my souvenirs. But no local bourbon , the guy tried to show me whiskey that’s not bourbon!!! Courteous though. Get some local bourbon!!!”

“I usually get dussé and it’s so cheap compared to the rest of the island. Only paying $26 for a pint which is just about the same you would pay in the city (providence). Everywhere else on that island is charging 30-35 a pint. Bridge’s selection of liquor is a DECENT size for the size of the store. “Let me start by saying that I rarely give a five star review, even if everything was great. But everything about Geaber’s liquors deserves a 5-star rating. We partnered with Steve and Steve at Geaber’s to provide the liquor for our wedding. From recommendations to their customer-centered service, we had only positive experiences of above and beyond customer service. “Simply the BEST liqour store in Newport! For the transplants, we can not buy beer/wine/liquor at the grocery store. So finding one of these that has what you want... it is Great! The ONLY place I can buy ShockTop (and i looked everywhere). All the wine and all the options for liquor. They do tastings and have a reward point system for money off. Look... this is the place. It is clean, full of options, and you can actually walk through the aisles!”

“Ferreira's is one of only a handful of liquor stores on Aquidneck Island. So disclaimer...if I lived in a more liquor dense area, this store would have a slightly lower rating. Their selection is limited, especially when it comes to new and trendy alcohols. I often can't find things like mini boxes of wine, or a limited addition run of a beer that I can get if I cross over the border into Mass. But they do have a decent selection of your typical wines (J. Lohr, Robert Mondavi, etc.) and beer (Buds, Dogfish, etc.). I will say the staff is very friendly, and will often remember what you purchased last time, and will offer to grab it for you as soon as you walk in.”
