BJ's Wholesale Club provides a convenient shopping experience for its members, with designated shopping hours for seniors and first responders. While many customers appreciate the variety and quality of the grocery and meat selections, some have noted issues with product availability, such as the absence of cooked whole chickens during early hours. Overall, BJ's remains a reliable option for bulk purchases, offering competitive prices and a range of private label items that are often of high quality. However, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with staff service, particularly in the deli area, where long wait times and poor management were reported. Complaints about employee breaks and a lack of attention to customer needs have been highlighted. The store's layout is similar to other wholesale clubs, but some shoppers have noted a reduction in the number of cashiers in favor of self-checkout options. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the absence of crosswalks in newly renovated parking lots, which many feel should be addressed for better customer safety. Despite these challenges, BJ's is still regarded as a solid choice for those looking to buy in bulk and save money.
