This is actually about Cox Communications online and phone service. They were fine when I signed up with them just over a year ago.
I decided to close my account, at first for a month, because my bill went up by $9+. I then decided to close my account. The person said he saw the problem and would fix it and send my money back.
I waited over a week, then when I looked in the app, it showed it would go for my return month. So, I called to cancel once again. That was done.
I spoke to three people in the same day and kept telling them to send me a return label. They said if I go to UPS, they have their address and can make the label themselves.
I went and they said I needed the label. They don't have Cox in their system. The app wouldn't let me call or text with anyone, so I had to take it to a Cox stores about 5 miles from here--I don't drive!

Greeted cordially and welcomed. I returned the equipment quickly. They even held the door open for me on the way out. Many people rate the cable industry poorly on customer service. I did not see any evidence of that on my visit.

Check in system not working. Just needed a new remote based on the people waiting and the slowness of service I would have been there over 2 hours. So I left and call customer service instead. The store is awful.

Tracey at the Lincoln Cox store has been a pleasure to deal with. We’ve gone in numerous times for assistance with our dad’s account and she has been of great assistance. She also went out of her way to get my sister added to her boyfriend’s account, calling him and working with him to remember his PIN (no easy feat!). Thank you, Tracey
