“Every time I have gone in this location, the staff has been extraordinarily attentive and friendly, going above and beyond in addressing my questions.
Today the gentleman asked, “How has your day been so far?” When I responded with “Could be better.” He took the time to ask follow up questions and showed genuine concern, asking if there was a way he could help. Seeing my emotion when I responded, “No, but I genuinely appreciate you asking,” He expressed that he hoped that whatever I’m going through gets better and asked if I needed a hug. All the time, completing my shipping needs with efficiency.”

“Visited on a Friday afternoon. After paying for 2 money orders for over $1200 the computer glitched and the employee couldn’t figure out how to print them out. It was escalated with 2 managers who also could not help. Through the whole experience, Austin was awesome. While I had to go home without my money or money orders, he assured me he would contact me asap to get it resolved. Thinking I wouldn’t hear back until at least Monday, 2 hours later, he called me to come back and pick up the money orders. It was a super stressful situation and he handled it really well. He was the only person working that day and definitely deserves recognition for his actions. Thanks, Austin!”
“WOW the BEST most fabulous post office I have ever been to-- wonderful people! fast service, kind, funny appreciative etc... I always want to give them cookies or something bc they are beyond stellar every single time!”
“I've been using this post office for years & have never had an issue. There's only long lines around nov-dec for obvious reasons. Staff is always helpful, location is much more convenient than the downtown location (parking always a nightmare), & the Corliss location is fine but it's ALWAYS so busy. Parking on Smith has never been an issue, or if you take public transportation, the bus (57 or 56 line) runs approx every 20 min & drops very close by. It is sometimes hard to spot since it's in the same building as a Mexican food restaurant & sits next to the Rhode Island credit union.”
“So, I just moved to North Providence and had to google the nearest post office. When I saw the bad reviews, I was driving there wondering what my experience would be like. Well, when I arrived there, I stood in a line of only 2 people, and noticed the clerk was very friendly and outgoing. When it was finally my turn, she was very helpful and answered all my questions. I introduced myself, and she stated her name is: Katt Lead Clerk. She did a great job and great customer service skills. Stop putting negative comments on places it ruins people's expectations. Let's be kind!”

“Been coming here for decades, service has gone down hill, I always get this one woman who is miserable and trash talking all of her co workers. I miss Kim and the tattooed guy. “They have standard post office service, but honestly I don't expect the USPS to rush ship packages and all seeing they get about a billion dollars in debt a year. Technically speaking the guy who gave someone tape can get in a lot of trouble so it would be best if you got over $4... Or just prepared your package ahead of time.”

From the moment I arrived, Justin was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. He has such a great personality and immediately made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free. “Not sure what everyone else is complaining about, but I haven't had any issues in years. When I did, the staff was very helpful and patient with me. They typically deliver my mail earlier in the day, which is nice too. Packages are always placed nicely on my porch or in the mailbox if they fit. Have been in the office several times lately to ship items, and the young woman at the counter is so friendly and helpful. I love them!”

“Received above and beyond customer service today! Two packages (total value over 300) I was supposed to receive were scanned delivered, but they were not actually delivered to my house. I went to the post office and spoke with the supervisor. She confirmed by the USPS GPS system that they were not delivered to my address. She notified the carrier and also went to the address where they were delivered herself and recovered the packages for me. She came to my house 1/2 hour later with the packages - what a relief and what great service! We are online sellers and use the Woonsocket post offices every day. All of the clerks are very helpful and always scan the packages for us.”
