“The layout is unlike any other hardware store. You will need help there your first time, but everyone there is so friendly and nice it doesn't matter. Lots of on the shelf moulding and trim. They mix paint. They have those crazy nails that one psycho likes to use. Hidden gem. I hate Middletown home cheapo.”
“Knowledgeable staff - we were greeted as we entered the store and asked how we could be helped immediately. Needing boat supplies, we were hesitant about inventory, but this store had at least one of the two things that we needed (and luckily, the more important one of the two). This may not be the best stocked store, but they do have a good selection. It is worth checking this store before making a drive to Wickford or Newport. We needed a filter which they had in stock, but just not the right size. Being anchored in Dutch Harbor, this store is convenient and worth checking before making a longer drive.
UPDATE: they have a UPS drop off!!!! Very convenient and saved me a drive off island! Thank you for your service!”
“Within minutes of entering, an associate named Phil stopped me to say hello. I asked him if he knew where zip ties were and he lead me there expeditiously. With his help, I was in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible without feeling rushed. The gentleman at the register was also very friendly, resulting in a very happy overall experience”
