“I can not say enough good things about Ryan and the staff at Champlins. We have worked many weddings, and Ryan and her team are always so professional and so kind. They are there to help in anyway. I always see them go above and beyond and absolutely can't praise them enough! Must go to place on block and a stunning wedding venue.”

“Celebrated our 32 year anniversary on the porch. Baked brie was once again delicious. Fresh tuna and scallops were awesome. Our server remembered it was our anniversary and congratulated us. It was overall a lovely evening.”

“We did not stay at the hotel. However, we ate incredible food, loved the ambiance, enjoyed friendly, engaging service and just dug the positive, peaceful and spiritual vibe all together. Thank you Harry for recommending this fine establishment and being a friend while we were there and for breakfast as well . Steven and Sunshine.”
“Pleasantly surprised! Clean building, quiet (was on the 3rd floor), AC, private bath. Small fridge and microwave in room. I dearly miss the Surf Hotel and have stayed a few different places since its closing. I believe I found my new yearly spot. Thanks for a great stay!”

“The Narragansett Inn was the perfect spot for our first overnight stay on Block Island. Located in the New Harbor area, it's in a prime location with The Oar in its backyard. This historic inn, which has been welcoming guests since the late 1800s, still retains much of its old-world charm, offering a unique step back in time experience. Glenn at the front desk was an absolute delight, adding a personal touch to our stay.
The inn provided coffee and muffins for breakfast, along with random snacks throughout the day, which was a nice surprise. The views of the Salt Pond were breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque setting. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the fan in the room and the refreshing ocean breeze kept us comfortable throughout our stay. Staying on the top floor, we had access to two shared bathrooms—one with a shower and one without—further adding to the nostalgic charm of the place.
One of the highlights was Glenn's thoughtful gesture of allowing us to return and shower after our beach day, even after we'd checked out. The location was also perfect for exploring the island, with easy walking access to the Old Harbor area. The Narragansett Inn is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that combines history, comfort, and genuine hospitality, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to truly immerse themselves in the charm of Block Island.”
“Location is excellent, rooms are clean and provide the necessities (hot water, clean sheets, a cool breeze).
There are a few very charming staff members who’ll have you down stairs in your Kai Kai comfy cozy’s looking for good conversation and a stiff drink.
The common room late night is the place to be and not to be overlooked.
10/10 if you’re cool enough to appreciate this gem. I’m coming back.”
