“We LOVED our stay at Shelter Harbor Inn. The inn itself is quaint, cozy and charming. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size for a weekend stay. Breakfast and coffee in the mornings was an added bonus, and the restaurant for dinners or drinks is delicious and well priced. It’s in a lovely neighborhood that is great for walks and less than 10 minutes to beaches and downtown. Highly recommend.”
“I loved the convenience of staying at a hotel right on the beach when I visited with my granddaughter and her friend. Al and the entire staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was not fancy but it was very clean. Having the refrigerator with a freezer section and a microwave helped to manage the cost of eating out. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“What an amazing stay we had at Pleasant View! I specifically want to mention the spectacular experience we had at The Hatch! The food was amazing and we couldn’t ask for better service from our waitress Francesca! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and especially accommodating to our two small children and our allergy issues! If we could have Francesca be our waitress every time we stepped into a restaurant then we certainly would!”

“This motel on the beach is simply perfect. The rooms have been recently updated and are very clean and comfortable. As a solo traveler I felt very safe here and warmly welcomed. Steps to the beach and a short drive to the nature preserve or the rocky shore outlook for the best sunset photos. I loved it so much I booked another stay next month!”

“Very nice place with clean rooms and polite staff ready to help and make sure that you have what you need. The room has good bedding and linens and fridge. The pool is clean and a nice size (shaped like a fish!). They make an effort to provide a good experience. It’s nicely situated near Mystic without the higher prices.”

“On a whim Friday, knowing we had no plans this weekend, I booked an ocean view room at Hotel Maria for the very first time. The staff were all friendly, and welcoming. Our room was perfect. Having a mini fridge was a blessing.
It was actually warm enough to walk along the beach when we got there yesterday, around 4 pm. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, and the food was delicious. It was also warm enough to sit on the balcony until around 10 pm (with coats on, of course). I even opened the window about two inches so we could still hear the waves. I didn't realize how badly I needed some Vitamin Sea.”
