“We visited Block Island for the first time in Mid-August. Took the ferry over from Point Judith and this hotel was an easy walk from the ferry. Everything was great at this hotel
from the moment we checked in. Cindy at the front desk was very pleasant and informative. She represents this hotel very well. We went to a beach one day and you could rent very nice beach chairs for $5 each ! The bar was very nice, and the back yard and porch was awesome with music at night. I felt this hotel was a great location to visit other sites. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Beware there is NO elevator and we were on 3rd floor ! good exercise though.”

“Block Island is beautiful in the winter. While nearly everything is closed, the tranquility of a quiet island off-season is sublime. Disconnect with a hardcover book, bundle up for a brisk walk, or enjoy a warm drink while watching the light snowfall. We were able to do all this from the Inn, the Spring House's year-round lodging option.”
“The hotel was more than accommodating. I got a great rate at the last minute. The staff is wonderful and attentive. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the lobby and porches were adorable and nice gathering spots. I will definitely be back to Hotel Manisses. Thank you for making our trip to Block Island enjoyable and restful and easy.”
“I would stay here again as we love the proximity to beaches, restaurants, etc but this review is for Suite 119. Good room, love that it's not super small like other rooms we've stayed in at Water St, the room was cleaned BUT the floors & shower floor were not. Upon arrival we noticed like mud by the fridge, rest of floors were dirty as well. Bathroom grout is black though it shouldn't be & shower base was visually dirty. I told girl at front desk when I checked out but she didn't seem to care so that's why I'm reviewing here. We did not say anything after checking in as we didn't want staff to come in once all our belongings were there. Also there's an EXIT sign IN the room, remove it, that emits light all night.”

“We had a wonderful time during our visit to Block Island. The room was perfect, the service was great and food was delicious. The bartender James, made the most wonderful drinks and made us feel right at home with his down to earth personality. He was one of the many bright spots on our trip. The views from the back deck cannot be beat! All around 5 stars for the beach house!”
