The Inn on Bellevue

Hours: The Inn on Bellevue is a charming and wonderful place to stay right in the heart of town, situated in the historic district. Guests describe it as a cute and pleasant B&B with an old whaling town vibe. The location is a solid and highly commended feature, as it is within walking distance of most major points of interest, including the commercial area, the mansions, the Cliff Walk, the Breakers, downtown, the Art Museum, and the Library/Athenaeum. The rooms are generally extremely clean, well decorated, very comfortable, and charming. Some rooms are described as huge with a separate living room, kitchenette, and jacuzzi bath, while others can be a little tight, as is expected in an old house. Accommodations feel fit for royalty, with some guests feeling they had stepped back into the Gilded Age. The beds are comfortable, including king-size options. The Inn itself is charming but older, so some noise from other rooms or the hall can be heard. A highlight for many is the absolutely fabulous and delicious breakfast, served in a regal dining room. The menu includes items like cheese omelettes, pancakes, French toast, quiche, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, assorted muffins, coffee, tea, and juice. The host is an absolute gem, described as charming and doing everything with a smile, going out of her way to provide recommendations and ensure a great experience. Additional amenities include free parking in a rear lot and a yummy cafe right next door. Overall, it is a really great, wonderful experience and place to stay, highly recommended for anyone visiting.
