“Inspiring Social Enterprise and team of talented, diverse and committed individuals making a global impact - one lifesaving package at a time! Edesia provided a very open, informative and exciting tour of their manufacturing facility - aka 'where the magic happens'. In addition to being inspiring, their intense commitment to quality assurance was evidenced first hand. Highly recommend supporting this non-profit and their local and global mission! And also signing up to take a tour as covid restrictions continue to relax.”

“Bike Newport fixed what couldn’t be fixed by other shops on my electric bike. They fixed it for a fraction of what I would’ve paid elsewhere and we’re very polite and respectful. I would recommend them to anybody looking to get their bike fixed.”

“Great facility. Overall the grounds here are very nice. The place is huge. There are tons of buildings to accommodate all kinds of activities. The structures are on the older side but still serve their purpose. The pool was also very nice with lots of things for kids to do. Lots of outdoor space. The pond is also nice.”

“Hera Gallery is an amazing place to see art, learn something new, support local business, support women run non-profit, get inspired, and meet the artists. For artists, it is a great place to experiment with some cutting edge ideas in a supportive environment or find a community to engage and share the ideas with.”

“First time ever using this non profit organization to do my 2024 tax return . Would’ve cost me 120$ to use Turbo tax. Emily was super helpful and answered any questions I had . A senior analyst came over to verify all my information and income . Hands down one of the easiest processes to make an appointment and just show up with your basic info and they handle the rest. Highly recommend to anyone looking to avoid Turbo Tax fees .”

“My daughter is in second grade and I've been fighting for help and not being heard since she was in kindergarten. Doctors recommendations and reports weren't taken into consideration and I was simply being ignored by the school. I reached out to Joanna Scocchi at the Arc with her help I am finally beginning to see some head way. She is with me every at every step, explains everything is understanding reassuring. I know i wouldn't of gotten my daughter the help she needs without the support of the arc”

“A delightful community theater with a warm welcoming ambiance. We saw the production of Tuesdays with Morrie while on vacation and it was very well done and a moving performance. They made accommodations so we could all get in to enjoy the production. It was a wonderful way to wrap up our time in Newport. Highly recommended!”

“I have been a member of RIDA since I began my practice and have taken on different roles at the association. What has RIDA done for me. It provided me with resources and answers when I began my practice. It allowed me to meet older dentists who provided guidance and friendship. RIDA fought for me regarding silver and amalgam waste, Department of Health issues, rights as a small business, and getting back to work during Covid.
As one of RIDA's political advocates, I and others work yearly to protect dentist's rights under the law. We have been fortunate to have many laws which other states lack and we continue to be the watchdogs we need to be.
So when people ask me why I'm a member I say...why wouldn't I be a member.”
