“I LOVE the Dr. Martin Luther King Center! The preschool & afterschool program are one of the BEST on the Island! My daughter gets so upset when I have to pick her up from the afterschool program because she is always having so much fun. The have an amazing food pantry AND community services for families, also their staff is amazing and extremely helpful!!! THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO MLK center!!”

Kind people that volunteer , unaffiliated and rely solely on their own volunteer organization.They have helped me with groceries a few times.They help thousands of people.Fall River is a better place to live because of Greater Fall River Food Pantry.Line was all the way to the corner of the sidewalk one time. They may need a bigger place, so if someone wanted to make them an offer, it is likely available.I would like to see them expand into something even larger. I think it's a safety issue at the end of the day.It's really tight in there and things need to be spread out a little more.The prayer of Jabaz! Expand my territory!”

“I love this non-profit organization! I moved to Fall River less than a year ago and was looking for a friendly, welcoming environment to take yoga classes. The Heron studio is definitely that place. I have taken classes with Jessica, Luna, and Ruben and they are all great and teach unique and relaxing classes. I am looking to get more involved and take other holistic health classes. :)”
“I worked as a volunteer at Tapin and I can tell you that it was a very special place for our clients who received goods and also received care and consideration. I was in charge of disseminating furniture items which were donated to clients who were waiting for them. Needs were kept listed on the computer so we had an updated view of who needed what and the date when the request came in. All in all Tapin was a great place to work and see acts of kindness being done every day.I would still be there if I hadn’t moved away from Rhode Island.”

“The YMCA has everything. Since the renovations the facility is gorgeous. The group exercise programs are extensive. Lots of options for everyone. The Y’sYoga program rivals any yoga studio with certified instructors offering an array of classes. Clean, Covid aware and much to offer.”
“Went here years ago.. it is beautifully restored w the orriginal Chapel and Christan artwork (wall frescos ) in tact.Library is beautiful No fluff here.. i felt close to Newport's real History of Sailors coming into port for respit. Simple services to those in need.”

“What an awesome foundation! I am so glad that this group gives us the chance to help share some sunshine. I was able to create some cards with my family this week to send in to the Confetti Foundation. It was an encouraging experience not to mention totally fun and a great way to spend some time while feeling a little stir crazy during quarantine. The website is super well made. It's easy to navigate and they make instructions super clear. I look forward to doing more to support this cause! The hospital is such a bummer place, kudos to The Confetti Foundation for adding some cheer to them.”
“A group of us gather each Friday night for dinner and karaoke since it is open to the public. The Hall has plenty of room for events. Local bands are featured monthly. Line dancing, a weekly community board game and other activities are available. An ongoing canned food drive for Veterans is located in the Hall. It is clean, friendly with plenty of parking.”
