“My 6 year olds are now into Pokémon cards, which I couldn’t tell you a single thing about them and was just looking to buy a few packs for them to have fun with. They took the time to explain what my kids would like with also telling me what to look for in case they open a pack and “pull a big one”. I know it’s just a pack of cards, but customer service like the kind I got is nearly extinct, you’ve earned a customer for life!”

I could not have been more pleased at how friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Patrick was. I am so happy to have found this place and to be able to engage in a hobby that I loved. “They had my exact color Tamiya paint I needed and I grabbed some panel liner too. It's a small place but its full of models and supplies. Mostly military and locomotive from my experience. I didn't see many hot rods or cars initially but I'm sure there were some hidden! Friendly and knowledgeable and great prices. ?”
“Hobby Lobby is a playground for adults. If you are crafty and even if you are not, it has something for everyone. Came in looking for cards to watercolor on, but I could not find them at this location, but I did not leave empty-handed. Bought stuff for my card making. Came home happy. I will have to look at my location because I have seen them there, so maybe not all locations are the same. Great pricing and wasn't cluttered like some places with their isles.”
“I like this store well enough and they sure have earned quite a bit of my money lo these last many years. But: a nice yarn shop it's not. No bike rack. And not easy for me to reach by transit. It has decent low end yarns, but nothing I crave. Good yarns for budget. You can work out something that will get lots of use and washing. For instance, you can make affordable baby clothes or blankets. Tatting thread selection leaves a lot to be desired. Most of their wares hold little to no interest to me. I don't like their coupon policy, especially when contrasted to the competition that's practically right across the street. If you're into cutting machines like Cricut, they have a TON!”

They had what I needed in a beautiful, high quality Maple Leaf.

“The best place in Providence for Magic singles by far, and I've been to all of them. One of the best spots for sealed Magic, Pokemon, and Sports cards.
Tens of thousands of cards, meticulously organized. Cards have listed prices, which is appreciated as that isn't always the case and made for some great deals.
Owner operated and extremely clean. They run events as well.”

“I had a goal. Find frames for a neglected bunch of artwork that's been languishing for years in brown paper bags stashed in forgotten closet corners. I ventured into Michaels convinced that I would only spend a few minutes picking out the perfect mats and frames. Well into my 100th round through the frame aisles I was rescued by the effervescent Addison who, with his boundless energy and enthusiasm, became the ultimate accomplice in my quest. Hours later we added two more accomplices - another customer game to help out and an employee aptly named "Queen of Color". With the group's keen eye for color and design we navigated the maze of mats and frames until finally finding the perfect combinations. What started out as a simple errand turned into an epic adventure. If you need framing assistance find Addison and then celebrate.”

Called the helpline for an unusual question about a problem that I had created; someone actually picked up the phone and walked me through a solution. Super nice and helpful. I wish I’d remembered her name (Friday 1 August afternoon), but couldn’t have been more friendly and patient. The benefits of working with an artisanal place, I suppose.”
