“Ordered two bottles of wine through Uber Eats. Upon ordering it showed a 30-40 minute delivery time. While waiting for the order, they added another 30 minutes to the delivery time. I called the store (per Uber instructions) and explained that I would not be available after a certain time. The store explained that my items would not be delivered by the time provided because they had not even started working on my order due to being “so busy.” She advised that I cancel my order. I did and Uber charged me for the items anyway because the store listed that they had already prepared my order before I canceled it. Dishonest business practices equals poor customer service. Update: I want to thank Frandy for resolving g this matter. He was professional, courteous, and respectful. I have much appreciation for the discussion and the outcome. Thank you Frandy! You are truly operating an upstanding business.”
