This Walgreens on Admiral Street is a large, self-standing store with plenty of parking and an area that is usually kept very clean and tidy. The store itself is clean and well-lit. However, experiences with customer service and pricing vary significantly. On one hand, some staff provide phenomenal and exceptional customer service. They are described as extremely energetic, eager to help, polite, knowledgeable, extremely charismatic, and all around great people, making difficult trips worth the hassle. This is the type of customer service all customers hope to receive. Specifically, the wonderful pharmacy staff is noted for their excellent service. On the other hand, there have been several aggressive interactions with managers at the front of the store. Customers report managers getting loud and providing crazy pushback over issues like returns, coupons, and Walgreens bucks that are not correctly applied, often blaming the system. This aggressive attitude has led some to feel their patronage is taken as a due, prompting them to consider other stores. While corporate care is acknowledged, these managerial problems seem to recur. Prices in the store are generally on the high side, with the best deals found during BOGO promotions combined with coupons. Overall, while specific clerks and pharmacy staff are standout and fabulous employees, inconsistent management and pricing impact the experience at what was once a happy store.

I wish they would have some kind of microphone at their drive thru so you could hear them when you're picking up your prescription. They just yell through the slot where you put your money & prescription and it's kind of embarrassing. Staff does a nice job with what they've got, though.
