Everyone check your profile, heathsource had my income wrong and was overcharging me by hundreds each month, called and they supposedly adjusted for correct information. Next day still wrong, so I have a huge unpaid balance that they won’t reconcile, but at the same time I paid a reconciliation a couple months ago that I could barely afford when they said I didn’t pay enough for a couple months about a half a year ago. My income has never changed through the last 2 years. Terrible, absolutely terrible. This outfit should be looked into.

As is probably usual, I was very confused regarding the recent changes to Medicaid. I made an appointment to talk with someone today at noon. Exactly at noon, I got the wonderful Marcia. This is the kind of employee that you wanna keep. Not only did she spend a significant amount of time with me, She also third-party called someplace and made sure, in a direct manner, that they received the correct information. I think I must’ve told her “thank you” 100 times. She was extremely knowledgeable and she knew how to get things done and she devoted a lot of time to me which I really appreciated. She Thoughtfully listened and gave me her complete attention when I was giving her my somewhat scattered answers to her questions and found out what I was asking for. She called back like she said she was going to. Seriously, this woman saved my life. Marcia deserves a raise, a promotion and/or a commendation.

Today, I had to make a phone call to Health source Rhode Island. The call was in regards to my two small children’s Medical being terminated without reason. Strangely enough, my (the mother) medical remained active , even though we’re all on the same account. Health source Rhode Island connected me with an awesome agent , whose name is Heather. I’ve been doing this for years and she was the most pleasant, caring, informative person I have ever talked to in regards to anything with state. Thank you, Heather for providing awesome,personable, and efficient service!!! You are the bomb!!!

If I could give this zero stars I would. Nobody knows what they are talking about so be sure to write everything down that the people tell you. Get the person‘s name and get a ticket number for every contact you have with Health Source RI. Each person gives you a different answer. It has taken over a year of back-and-forth to get my credit balance, returned to me, and it still not resolved. I would think I was a rare case but the same thing is happening to my son. I don’t know what kind of education or certification employees need to be hired, but it seems like the level of performance is that of a second grader, and I am being generous. I cannot stress enough, how important it is to get the name of the person you are talking to and to get a ticket number for every conversation. It is unfortunate that they are taking advantage of people who have no choice, but to go through them to get health insurance. Good luck to anyone who has to go to health source RI, I would rather stick pencils in my eyes, then deal with them.

Ignorant, incompetent employees making mistakes and misinforming customers. Causing issues for the health and well-being of customers. This place should be shut down it's sad that Rhode Island allows Monopolies like this to exist.

I spoke to a representative named Joseph. He was completely unprofessional and should not be in a customer facing position. He was brash inconsiderate and refused to let me speak to a supervisor when he wasn’t being helpful. I was completely calm when speaking to this person. He had an approach of “This is how it is and this is how it’s going to be” with no type of thoughtful or intellectual reasoning or explanation. I seriously do not understand how he managed to get a position speaking to customers for HealthSource RI.. I had notations on my account from a woman who was previously extremely helpful and he refused to even look into notations.. This guy needs to be fired immediately… I called again and spoke to Latisha who was the complete opposite and quite helpful and was able to explain the situation on my account and give good advice … but yeah you should definitely fire Joseph he is giving HealthSource RI a very bad look especially after this data breach they should be more mindful with who they are hiring to deal with customers … but yeah definitely fire Joseph

The worst website ever. I don’t know why we receive emails stating your monthly statement is ready for viewing. I’ve never been able to view anything via the website. Also it has a payment option which also never works. Don’t even get me started with customer service and why every little thing is an hour long process or more. Took two weeks for them to cancel a membership they signed my daughter up for without permission. I can’t wait for this years coverage to end because I will not use them moving forward. I’ll go directly to the insurance company or pay the damn penalty at the end of the year because dealing with healthsource is way more frustrating than need be. Especially when not needing financial help and literally just wanting to purchase private insurance.

I saw the bad reviews and I figured that if I just paid my bills every month, I’d be fine. Even that is a hassle to do, their website is always down. I went in just to change my address because their phone service is terrible and their system is down even at the office. So they suggested me come in and wait for the next appointment… all for a simple address change. Just disorganized.

Customer Service Reps over the phone can be quite helpful. That provides 2 stars with my review. The website Health Source RI is the single worst website I have ever used in my entire life, its actually quite impressive. You'll be logged out 10 times in one session, attempting to nagivate health insurance options, when all is done you cant even select your own plan, you'll likely have to call or live chat with a rep, because the site doesn't even work.

The website is full of crap you have to upload things over and over and over in order for it to go through then it locks you out then it doesn't work then it tells you to do something and you try to sign electronically and it doesn't allow you to it needs to be fixed it needs to be fixed I'm not using it anymore

They required payment up front in order to complete registration. Payed $5,000 Registration never got completed. I cancelled going forward due to severe incompetency on their part. They informed me refund would take up to 60-90 days. I wish I could give them ZERO stars.
