“I am OBSESSED with this store. They have a really good selection of occult books, RPG stuff, and *squeals* they have Cthulhu plushies! I love Cthulhu. Oh and they have postcards! And cool buttons. And yeah, I’m obsessed.”
“Very unique and fun experience! I would recommend arriving early to find a place to sit as it gets very crowded and it gets harder to watch standing behind people, especially for kids.”
“The Genesis Center provided me with a sense of belonging. The staff was friendly, helpful, and hospitable. I highly recommend people to visit and receive the excellent services they provide.”
“The most beautiful walking path along the water. There’s a little dock you can take pictures from or this little secluded beach area. Most important thing? There’s free parking!”
“I grew up near amos house and recently attended a training program held there. I was wildly impressed with the growth it has seen since my youth when it was "that place that serves free food to homeless people." While the populace does majorly consist of people contending with some form of addiction or mental health struggle, Amos House is a treasure trove of resources and support, with all manner of social services for anyone who may need them. They're doing amazing work.”
“Gail and her crew of volunteers are always delightful and keep the crowd engaged. The activities are well organized and all inclusive. The Empowerment Factory is aptly named because I always leave there feeling encouraged, inspired and motivated. I’ve been attending Art in the Park for several weeks. Between myself and my four kids (who range from six to nineteen years old), I don’t know who enjoys the festivities more. ?”
“What an amazing group of people. There is a passion to help each other, which is so encouraging. If you are looking for a business group to join, I highly recommend the Northern Rhode Island Chamber”
“Hope and Main is a fantastic way to start your food-based business. The staff is incredibly helpful and understand that your success leads to their success. What a great place! I highly recommend for those contemplating starting a business”
“I don't know how to express my reviews for SPCA. We just lost a cat about a month ago and were looking for adopting another one. I reached out to Marie O'Toole and she responded to my email immediately. I went to their website and chose a cat. I filled out an application and met the cat. Olivia is excellent. The whole process was a smooth sailing. Very reasonable fees and gave all the belongings to the cat. Olivia helped me to load the car. Thank you all for bringing joy to our lives after losing a cat. The cat is healthy, beautiful and adorable.”
“I have seen firsthand how this organization can drastically change the trajectory of a child’s life. I wish more people, especially men of all colors; regardless of economic status would give as much as 1 hour a week to these children.”
“Hi, I am apart of the Rancho dance group that is apart of the club and I have been in the Rancho and I have loved my experience there because it has gave me room to make new friends and more memories. I highly suggest that you try out dancing in the Rancho because you will love it in the end and also the people that run the Rancho are amazing, probably because my dad is the director of the Rancho, but in all seriousness this club is amazing and I will always remember this club in the future and my dream is also to become the president of this club when I become old enough.Viva Portugal!!!And also let’s goo Benfica!!”
“I can't express enough gratitude for the outstanding service provided by Tatayana and Rayanny at Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate while assisting Shagufta with her immigration case.
Tatayana's expertise and thorough understanding of the immigration process were invaluable. She made sure every detail was covered, providing clear explanations and guidance every step of the way. Her dedication to helping us was truly remarkable.
Rayanny's support was equally impressive. She went above and beyond to ensure Shagufta felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. Her kindness and patience were greatly appreciated, making a complex and stressful situation much more manageable.
Thanks to the combined efforts of Tatayana and Rayanny, Shagufta's case was handled efficiently and successfully. I highly recommend Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island for their exceptional service and the amazing team they have. Thank you, Tatayana and Rayanny, for your dedication and hard work!

“Great place to gather for those who are tired of capitalism/colonialism indoctrination and like intimate music events for all ages.
And there’s a water bowl for dogs!”
“Attended a corporate event here that included an art making workshop along with a walking art tour. Awesome experience and very educational. Love what this group is doing.”
“It is a great place to have delicious Portuguese food and the price is very affordable. It is a very well organized establishment which has many cultural events throughout the year.”
“You can tell these women put their heart and souls into the food. It is a perfect mix of middle eastern quizine. Their bread rivals five stars bread in town and their meals are a beautiful medley of flavors that light up your senses. To eat this food, the first word came to mind was happiness. I ate their lamb meal and couldn’t wait to find out when they were on the delivery apps so i could order through them.”
“Exceptional staff. Cares deeply about their animals. Drove from NH to pick up my new addition. Ann made sure I had everything I needed and continues to respond to any questions I have. If you have the means and patience to do so, save a pup today at Warwick Animal Shelter!”
“Donated two bikes today to Recycle a Bike (don't worry I have a couple more of my own in my apartment!) I talked with Mike who told me that the grants they had in the past have dried up and they depend on their volunteers and donations to stay open--now more than ever. They still have to pay the rent, after all. Consider your three "Ts". Time, Treasure, and Talent and if you could help them out. RAB are a great non-profit who provide several services to the general public; keeping bikes out of the landfill and on the road, reducing the local carbon footprint while reducing car traffic, teaching people how to repair their bikes, and making people smile. No doubt more things that I'm not thinking of right now! Please Visit and support this business!”
“Every time I stop in, I’m greeted by a friendly smile and new items. They keep this place stocked to the gills with goodies, and it’s always organized in a cohesive and purposeful way. I’ve been coming here regularly for nearly 6 years and I’m never disappointed! Highly recommended dropping in every now and then for some fun finds!”
“Great organization, friendly staff, very accommodating when it comes to the needs of the public. They have good food choices but make sure you go early, first come first serve.”
“Amazing residence. The staff are so caring and helpful. Food and house goods almost weekly donated. Amazing place for battered woman and their children. Highly recommended”
“I must say that they really go out on the limb.I am currently in the midst of transition...from disability to functioning in the workforce. And in need of proper assistance.Well the assigned staff councilor had come in an hour earlier just to meet with me. Micheal was very welcoming and understanding to my situation. He was thorough in informing me of what my options were.John the director and some of the other staff members were very warm and hospitable. In my observations..as I toured the facility.. I took notice of much they offer and the things they do.In a few weeks I have to return to see my councillor to see what my prospects are.Knowing these professionals..I'm certain everything's in my favor.”
“The outdoors club I run just hosted our annual meeting here and we had a great experience. It is easy to get to, has lots of parking, and the price is just right to rent the room. We had about 50 people and could have definitely fit more and still felt comfortable. Lots of plugs for our AV equipment. We brought our own catering and paid for folks sodas and then had a cash bar. The bar is right there in the room (looks nice, it is just for the room, there is a members bar downstairs). The fellow we worked with was great as well and gave us a great catering recommendation.”
“This location of Goodwill in Providence, RI is an Attended Donation Center, which means it is just for donations and does not have a store. The first time I came to this location, I wasn't sure where the to put my donations so I ran the bell at the front of the building and was informed that the drop off for donations was around the building to the right. When I got to the drop off location, there is a sign to ring the bell for service. I ran the bell and an attendant opened the door a few minutes later. I dropped off my items and he gave me a coupon for the store. Goodwill accepts items like clothing, shoes, small appliances, and furniture. Donations are sorted and then sold in one of their fifteen retail stores. The revenue from the sale of these donations helps to support the programs they offer to individuals with disabilities and other challenges in their lives. This location is open Monday to Friday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM.”
“Very friendly bartenders and owners, reasonably priced for hall renting, affordable beverages. Interior is much more modernized than other VMF, but still has the same charm as a post.
Every bartender offered condolences for our memorial celebration gathering.”
“love this place!! Everyone has to find out about them and the amazing deals you'll get here!! Selective hours so look online for when to go, and I usually go at the last hr or two before close since there may be a line if you try to go right when they open. Look at the prices for yourself for one days menu of what they are selling for cold items [menu is different every day] I got fresh strawberries and blackberries 2/$1 last week, and 6 big ojs Tropicana, for $12!!!!”
