“I made the mistake of purchasing two new tires for the front of my car from a local tire dealer and suffered terrible vibrations at both low speed and highway speeds. The whole car would shake while driving. I brought the car back four times and they were unable to fix the problem. I was told that the new tires had flat spots on them, so they replaced the tires again. Still the problem occurred!
I was then told that the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. That's when I went to Melvin's Tire in Smithfield, RI. Dwyane was excellent! Within 30 minutes, his technician checked the wheels and determined they were not bent. They checked the new tires and determine they were fine as well. However, they did find that the previous dealer I bought the tires from failed to remove all of the old adhesive wheel weights from inside the wheels, which was causing excessive road force and vibration.
Once they cleaned the wheels of all the old weights, they easily rebalanced them and the car road tested fine with no further vibrations. That settles it! From now on, all my tire work and maintenance goes Melvin's Tire, Smithfield. These guys know what their doing and I don't mind paying good money for superior work! Thanks Dwayne!”

“I always have such an amazing experience at this location. Every time I need assistance Keagan is always there to help. In the past he’s assisted me with a diagnostic report to find out I needed a new CO sensor, helped me pick out windshield wiper fluid as well as guidance with windshield wipers & replaced them for me. And today when I came in looking for new headlight bulbs he walked me through the different types and we watched a video together on how to install them because I was adamant on doing it myself. He told me if I had trouble to come back after 12 and he would assist…. Well, I had trouble and came back and he gladly did it within 5 minutes. “I can't possibly overstate how fantastic my experience was with this business owner. I had a flat tire on Sunday and while changing the tire on my car, the jack collapsed. Anthony helped me on his own time, to solve the problem. He also told me to swing by the shop to make sure the tire was safely mounted. There was an issue with the rotor cover that I didn't notice until after I drove off on Sunday and it was a very loud noise from contact with the rotor. I took it to the shop today and it was fixed almost immediately. He wouldn't even take a payment. Obviously don't expect free work from the business owner, but how incredibly helpful and trustworthy this guy is speaks to the value of doing business there. I need some minor repairs to my car that I will surely have done there”
