“I made the mistake of purchasing two new tires for the front of my car from a local tire dealer and suffered terrible vibrations at both low speed and highway speeds. The whole car would shake while driving. I brought the car back four times and they were unable to fix the problem. I was told that the new tires had flat spots on them, so they replaced the tires again. Still the problem occurred!
I was then told that the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. That's when I went to Melvin's Tire in Smithfield, RI. Dwyane was excellent! Within 30 minutes, his technician checked the wheels and determined they were not bent. They checked the new tires and determine they were fine as well. However, they did find that the previous dealer I bought the tires from failed to remove all of the old adhesive wheel weights from inside the wheels, which was causing excessive road force and vibration.
Once they cleaned the wheels of all the old weights, they easily rebalanced them and the car road tested fine with no further vibrations. That settles it! From now on, all my tire work and maintenance goes Melvin's Tire, Smithfield. These guys know what their doing and I don't mind paying good money for superior work! Thanks Dwayne!”

“All I can say is these guys are the best. From the GM Harold to the advisor Lin, and the whole crew at Grieco. From pick up and repair all the way through completion/ The team handled everything including towing. The communication I had through the process was/is top notch. It's not a common occurrence to have both your vehicles needing body work in the same year. Thank to an animal strike and a tree falling thanks to the epic winter we had. The animal strike was fully repaired and the car came back amazing. My SUV is currently there now and the communication through the process is top notch again. Moving back to RI, we needed a good mechanic, and after some searching, we were pointed toward Shane’s Auto Truck & Performance. Shane came highly recommended, and from the start, he showed real knowledge and skill in his work.
Before finding Shane, we had taken our car to Slater’s Auto Repair, but unfortunately, that experience was disappointing. After that, we were relieved to find someone like Shane, who seemed more reliable and professional.

“I had a fuel pump replaced in march at Barrette Fab during some frame work and it recently developed an issue when starting. Ricky checked it and determined it was failing. So since he warranties his work he replaced it. The replacement failed so he replaced it again . All this work was done in just two day. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who takes that much pride in his warranty work and getting the job done so the customer is happy.”
