“A great place to kill some time, explore a favorite topic or find a new interest. Also, a wonderful place to bring kiddos to develop their love of reading. Plus you get the added bonus of exercise when it's time to try and get time to leave...and have to carry them out kicking and screaming!”
“I am OBSESSED with this store. They have a really good selection of occult books, RPG stuff, and *squeals* they have Cthulhu plushies! I love Cthulhu. Oh and they have postcards! And cool buttons. And yeah, I’m obsessed.”
“Riffraff Books in PVD, is a one-of-a-kind gem that combines a curated selection of books with a hip neon bar atmosphere. Whether you're a bookworm searching for hidden literary gems or some tea and pastry this is for you.Bro their book Selection: is WILD but in a good way. You won't find the lastest book ghost written book by James Patterson or Danielle Steele here. This bookshop is devoted to independent, and alternate presses and even has some zines. You're sure to find something unexpected and delightful to add to your bookshelf. It's always a fun time to walk here and the factory living and working center they're located in is beautiful for the city to revitalize an old mill!!!!!!”
“A really fun bookstore in the heart of Providence. The displays are great, usually the flat lays include a book or two that I am looking for. The coolers for soft drinks/waters are also a nice feature.”
“My first opportunity to attend an event here and though the event was enjoyable, I found myself quite smitten by the eclectic and unassuming products in the gift shop....To be honest, I wandered in there to take a phone call & was pleasantly surprised.
Equally charming was a gentleman playing what is I believe a ukulele outside of the restroom and as I turned left, I noticed the Jonathan Bonner Exhibit...
I love art and true to form: A little boy saw a box with a tongue sticking out & I saw the belt my Immigrant Mom used to ensure excellent report cards & inspire higher education in us⭐OR Megan Thee Stallion...”

“It was cool. The tarot card reader was okay, nice lady, and she said a few interesting things. I think the reading was pretty good and mostly entertaining. I bought a few gemstones while I was at the shop. They had a pretty good selection, display items and jewelry too. I recommend supporting the business. Give them a try.”
“Thank you for steaming the mass each Sunday. As we all shelter in place, it has been a wonderful and essential part of our daily prayer and Sunday spiritual communion.”
“Can't thank the staff here enough! During my two years of being a student here, I know I can always come hear if I have questions about anything needed for my classes. Michaelle is soo knowledgable she even gives you deets on which classes actually use the books. And Orlando is always at the front, rain or shine, busting through orders, no brakes on this guy. They even price match other US based booksellers!”

“Heaven for artists. Everything you need to buy for your project except creativity. Huge paper section. (I bought some Italian paper/prints of flowers, mushrooms, birds, etc for about $6 each that I plan to frame.) They have a huge selection of journals, too. Michaels is a consumerist joke compared to this store. Honestly, you could spend two hours here, salivating.”
“This bookstore is pretty tucked away, and confusing for first time visitors. I’ve used google maps to drive here and it always leaves you up the street. Go down that one way street, across the gated parking lot there’s an opening with a sign up top. Then stay to the left, down the stairs to a shady looking basement—that’s the bookstore. The actual store itself is your run of the mill university bookstore. It’s got affordable school supplies, overpriced snacks and JWU apparel. I’ve picked up all of my textbooks here without a problem, and 5 minutes tops. There’s an older gentleman who works the desk and has for years and he’s very polite and helpful. Ask him for help if you need it.”
“It's an absolute gem! The guy who works there had the audacity to approach me and ask what interests me. I couldn't believe he did that, but once I survived that terrifying experience, I was exposed to some of the best ephemera I'd ever seen. It was as well-curated as some of the best museums you'll ever be in without the whiteness and hostility that usually accompanies those environments.”
“As a former student who graduated from this University I can say how amazing of an experience I obtained here was. As a Team & Project Management major I quickly achieved a position after graduation as a company's real estate broker”
