Food wasn't great, the 2 different drinks we had were disgusting, we couldn't even drink them. My Shirley temple tasted like dirty sink water. Unfortunately I won't be back.

Ordered takeout, Portuguese style sirloin medium and king cut prime rib rare, both were cooked well done which really ruined it for us. First time eating there. I will say the stuffed mushroom caps were very good. Also thought it was crazy they charge you 95 cents per container for takeout. The lady on the phone was definitely in a rush but she got the order right on the receipt so considering it was a Friday that’s understandable, but why ask how we would like it cooked if you are just going to cook it well done. Last, I added mushrooms to the sirloin, and it had a total of two mushroom pieces. Bast taste for my first time eating there…

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Barcellos Family Restaurant, affectionately known as Barcello's, in Sugar Land, Texas, and the experience left me absolutely delighted. This hidden gem is a five-star establishment that seamlessly blends the rich flavors of Turkish, Portuguese, Italian, and American cuisine, creating a culinary haven that caters to diverse tastes. My visit on Thanksgiving Day was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm ambiance to the attentive service, Barcello's exuded a welcoming atmosphere that made our holiday meal truly memorable. The owner, Khan Uncle, personified hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure every guest felt like family. The highlight of our visit was the beef lasagna, a mouthwatering masterpiece that showcased the chef's culinary prowess. The layers of perfectly cooked pasta, savory beef, and indulgent cheese left me savoring each bite. It's a testament to Barcello's commitment to quality and authenticity in every dish.A special mention goes to Khan Uncle, who surprised us with a complimentary serving of turkey on Thanksgiving. This generous gesture exemplifies the genuine care and consideration that sets Barcello's apart. It's this personal touch that makes the dining experience at Barcello's truly special. One standout feature of Barcello's is its dedication to offering a fully halal menu. As someone who values halal options, I appreciate the effort to create an inclusive dining environment that caters to diverse dietary preferences.Barcello's innovative fusion of flavors reflects a culinary journey that takes you from the streets of Lisbon to the heart of Italy and the comfort of American classics. The diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings, date nights, or any occasion that calls for delicious food in a charming setting. In conclusion, Barcello's Family Restaurant is a culinary triumph in Sugar Land. With its warm hospitality, delectable dishes, and a fusion of flavors that celebrate diversity, it has rightfully earned my five-star rating. I can't wait to return to explore more of the menu and create more cherished memories with family and friends.Dietary restrictions: All the food is halal!Parking: There is a ton of free parking.Kid-friendliness: This location is definitely kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The location is wheelchair accessible.

Great food. Went there on November 26th. Had a male waiter. Took a month of Sundays before our water came, another month of Sundays before he came back to take our order, when it came,he never asked if we needed anything else. (And we did) He just ran away. Never came back to see if everything was okay. I noticed his coworker cleaning his tables after HIS customers left! What the heck was this kid doing? We gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was probably his first day.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Super nice atmosphere. Definitely upper scale family restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the soup was homemade and extremely good! We'll definitely be back regularly.
