Great place to grab some fish and chips or some other seafood and sit by the water to eat can get really busy sometimes so I usually take it and drive to it somewhere else. Sit and eat. It's also on the pricey side but so worth

Always a must visit when in tiverton (provided its the right season) deliciously fresh seafood served with an idyllic seascape view. I've sampled quite a lot of the menu, and my vote is for the fish and chips. They're delicious, and the oil has always tasted fresh to me. I recommend stopping by in the sunset hours, even if just for the view. Beautiful scenics and fresh air feasting.

The food here is so bland. I had ordered a seafood plate. Description says it feeds 2-3 people and it's 2 pounds. It was mostly soggy fries. Also had chowder and the potatoes were straight mush. Absolutely nothing here has flavor.

Favorite spot to get classic New England summer dishes while I’m in Tiverton. You can bet clam cakes and chowder is first up, and I’ve never been disappointed with any of the other food I’ve had. Service is great and the food comes out almost instantly.

I had waited to whole summer to come here and was finally able to last night and am beyond disappointed. We didn’t even get to try the food because the service was so bad. I understand it’s the end of the season and at this point the workers are over it, but that is no reason to have such poor service. We arrived right before 7 and sat in the back row of the tent. It took about 15 minutes for our waitress to come over. My husband was ready to leave after 10, but insisted we stayed because he knew how much I wanted to try the food. I have been a caregiver to my father, work full time and have a mother in the hospital in Boston for the last 4 months and needed this to put a smile on my face. The funny thing was our waitress had the table right in front of us and came to their table 3 times to check on things and ask about dessert. She came back and brought them a check and then returned again to pick up the signed check and say goodnight to them. At no point did she even acknowledge us.Eventually she came over, took our order, stopped at another table that just walked in, greeted them took their drink order and then put our drinks and their drinks in at the same time . The other table waited 2 minutes for service. When our drinks arrived after the other table for theirs the waitress casually mentioned to me they didn’t have the clam strips. She stated that they were so busy she forgot to tell us after we placed our order. This was the only thing on the menu my husband ordered. He asked for a menu and she said no problem. She never came back with a menu. I watched her walk in and walk right past the menus. She then had a conversation with another server, she took a food order to a table inside and checked on another table. I got up and went inside to get a menu. When I asked for it she said “ oh yeah , we are slammed” I’m not sure what she considers slammed, but if 2 tables insides and maybe 10 outside is slammed, I’d hate to see how the services is when it’s the middle of the summer and a beautiful day.I personally ordered whole belly clams, chowder and a lobster roll for myself. My husband was going to settle on the burger , but I was so upset with the lack of service and care. It definitely felt as though my husband and I were not welcome or wanted. I decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. The waitress didn’t even seem to care we were leaving and said, “sorry it’s the end of the season”.We didn’t leave because you didn’t have food, we left because the server was terrible and definitely let us know that we were not welcome. This will not be added to the list of places black people should spend their money in Rhode Island.

This place is the perfect blend of local haunt and tourist trap, and which you experience is just a matter of timing. We like it as our local haunt, so we avoid sunny summer weekends mostly and are rewarded with prize tables near the water and attentive table service. The food is rather typical of our regional ocean fare but surprises do await with daily specials (not sure how often). The quality is outstanding and so are the views!

Wonderful outdoor dining by the water, scallops and clams were cooked just right, highly recommend and is worth the trip, all the way from Reno . Save room for a side trip to Grays ice cream later

While I am not a fan of fried seafood, my family did enjoy the meal. This meal was a gift to my wife for her 50th birthday, and she was quite satisfied with the fare. In fact, she said she had never been more satisfied, which made me feel a little inadequate.Regarding prices, a little on the expensive side, but that is subjective. We had buffalo tenders, RI style calamari, fish and chips, and the infamous seafood platter. My wife indulged in two spicy bloody mary cocktails. The meal was $164.00 and the tip was $40.00.My son's, 8 and 13, thoroughly enjoyed their meals by the way. No complaints, but my son's rarely pass up a meal.Back to the expense. There are less expensive items on the menu, so it is possible to walk out of there without losing the family farm. We just didn't order those items. One thing for certain is that the atmosphere in the outdoor dining area is nice. I'm not going to write spectacular because it is not spectacular. I will write that if you want to dine outdoors, nearby restaurants in Fall River will not compete. You can go to Newport and wait in line for hours and pay more money. You can go to Westport too.I did see a sign for some music entertainment but never investigated. It would probably be neat to hear a live band while stuffing ones face. In the end, I liked the staff, my family enjoyed the food, and the other families seemed to have a good time.A positive recommendation from the whole family.P.S.Parking is not so bad, but if the restaurant is busy, it can be a little sketchy. Be careful walking down the road.

We had the 2 pound special. Which has fried shrimp, scallops, fish, calamari, whole belly clams, clam cakes, French fries, and onion rings. We took home almost a whole meal for leftover. Can not say enough about the view. Well worth the drive ? just under an hour. But to sit down and get to take in the water view worth it. You can drive your boat ? and park it at the dock right in front.Parking: Maybe 25 spots for cars ? also about 6 boat ? spots.Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu available.

What a hidden gem this place is. The lobster BLT was delicious. The ciabatta roll was very light and the lobster fresh, not too much mayo and the bacon was just the right flavor. The fries were fresh and hot and the view of the water was delightful and Jocelyn was perfect on her service and bantered with us in the most fun way.? Mom had the lobster roll and Mario had the chicken and bacon sandwich. ???Parking: On street parking across the street if the lot is full.

I’m mad at myself. I should have walked away when I heard what it was going to cost for our order. My husband ordered clam plate, I got the scallop plate.. tack on 2 bottled waters: $92. I’m not kidding. We looked at each other and handed over a hunge. Shame on us. Im not sure anything coming from a glorified clam shack could taste good after getting walloped with this bill but it was downright mediocre. Soggy fries, limp clams. I’m still upset. Location location location. That’s what you’re paying for. Picnic tables on the banks of the Sakonnet River in stunning Tiverton. Yup it’s sparkling and scenic with its own dock for boaters to motor up but man is the food crappy… Don’t waste your money.

Iconic Southern New Englad clam shack that just is not as good as it once was. Stick to the clamcakes and chowder and enjoy the water views.

Incredibly unremarkable seafood, some downright bad like the stuffies and overpriced lobster roll. Took 3 requests to get anything from our server. Let down.
