Somebody stole our credit card that dinner night and charged many things with the info on our card. I am furious.

Food was served cold. Mussels were poor quality service slow. Busy with not enough help and after we left we were slammed with ten items from websites charged to our Visa card. Ambiance not good too noisy.

Everything we got was acceptable but not especially good. If the prices were halved then I might consider recommending it. But you're currently paying for a premium product and receiving modestly elevated food truck food... just not worth it at all.

Before going to Plouf Plouf, I looked at the Yelp reviews. All but one (dated several years ago were 4-5*. But one, dated 2 months ago, was horrible. I wondered whether the restaurant had deteriorated over time but decided to go anyway. It has NOT deteriorated. The food was excellent cooked in the French way to perfection. Four of us all were pleased with our Lobster Bisque and Onion Soup, followed by wonderfully grilled lamb chops, duck and Pernot mussels. A grand evening. Thanks to the chef and his super efficient and effective wife. We will return.

Absolutely delicious! I couldn’t believe this amazing restaurant doesn’t have more buzz around it! I ordered steak frites with truffle fries and it was superb! The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth.

Honestly, the most dreadful experience. Tiny restaurant with very few tables, we waited over a hour for our meals. The staff are very rude, while waiting such a long time for our meal, I tried to go to use the restroom- the waitress informed me I could not use it as it was only for customers( despite having seen me sitting there for over an hour and a half). The food was bad, and so very, very expensive. the steaks are a very low quality of meat. The chairs and tables are very uncomfortable. Cannot recommend.

I was only gonna leave 4 stars until, I seen a review some snowflake posted about Foie Gras. I had a great experience at Plouf Plouf, My Significant other and I ordered the escargot which was on point, the chefs pate was amazing. I had the rack of lamb which was superb and the girl had the steak frites, it was done the right way using hanger steak. For dessert we did creme Brulee and some cake with raspberry sauce with a scoop of caramel chocolate chip gelato. Will be back to try the rest of the menu. This place is BYOB, if you're planning on bringing in higher end wines. Bring you're own wine opener and open yourself.

Staff was friendly and menu is nice. However the food was not very good at all and overpriced. We started out with the Plouf Salade and the chef's pate. The beets on the salad didn't taste fresh and the pate had little flavor and the presentation left a lot to be desired. For the main course we had the steak frites and canard confit. The sauce on the steak was nice but the steak was very under cooked and inconsistent throughout and was not a very good cut of meat. The confit duck leg was closer to a turkey leg that sat in the refrigerator for a week after thanksgiving and reheated. Tough and chewy. The fries that came with both dishes were soft and mushy. We ate very little of either main course as it was not very edible. As far as ambience goes there is little offered here unless you like eating in a parking lot with visible yard debris and a loud air conditioning unit running seated in uncomfortable metal chairs. It's byob and if you want to run over to the liquor store and grab a beverage you can pay the restaurant $8. We have been to France several times and eaten at many French restaurants there and in the United States and this doesn't even come close. Very disappointing. Save your $ and/or eat elsewhere.

So this place has been on my list for quite some time. I'm so glad we finally got here tonight! The weather was perfect for some French onion soup. We both enjoyed steak frites for dinner. It was so good!! It's a small place - make a reservation! Unfortunately for me they are open seasonally. I believe they close for the season in the middle of October so get there soon if you can!

While visiting the Little Compton area for 5 days, this was our best dinner. Outside dining and service was exceptional, our 3 dinners, tuna, mussels and bone in chicken were done perfectly. Just a nice vibe for the evening.

We ordered the coquilles st jacque thinking it was an entree with sides. What we got is 4 small scallops that looked like 2 cut in half horizontally and sauce for $27 each! Nothing with it! We spent $58 on an appetizer! When you see the other entrees on the menu they come with sides. When my husband picked it up it weighed almost nothing so he looked in the bag and found containers that could hold burgers. He asked about it and they said that is it. He asked for some bread at the least and they charged him for it. The scallops arent even that great. I have had better. I just wish I could include a photo.

Charming outdoor bistro. Reminded me of Paris bistro cooking. We had the pate de campagne, onion soup, canard de confit, coquille st jacques, and creme brulee. Everything was very good. The onion soup was lighter than some, in that it did not use a beef based broth, though the spicing was perfect. The canard was crispy with green peppercorn sauce over frites. Yum. The creme brulee was close with the cold/warm contrast of the carmelized top vs. the custard, but the custard was a bit overdone. Still, it was delicious. Very surprising. BYOB.

My husband and I came from CT for the weekend and found this restaurant by accident. I have been to France many times and found this to be a truly authentic experience! It is a bistro, and so we were not expecting fine dining. The food was amazing and I love that you can byob. It saddens me to read the earlier review, but sometimes people have unrealistic expectations. I am so happy to share this excellent review and wish the owners the very best. This has been such a difficult time for restaurant owners so I hope that patrons can be a little more supportive and kinder in the future. Great job and we will definitely be back in the future!

Starting with the good. Food was decent. Now for the rest of the story....having our France trip canceled for our anniversary we booked here expecting a Parisian Ambience. Never told it was outside dining only on rickety wooden tables & barely safe chairs, never told it was BYOB either but luckily a liquor store was in the plaza. Tried to enjoy our picnic on a breezy night & no heater for the 5 tables but plenty of umbrellas! Bill without booze was $191.00 for 4. Not bad except for the $6 charge to borrow their corkscrew! WTH they were cheaper at the packy! Then the PhD waitress stated tips in cash were not only appreciated but preferred! Say what? Bill split w/ 2 cc & both stated $191! Can't make this crap up! Felt my anniversary dinner was ruined & would have preferred Evelyn's Clam Shack (best fried clams) & no $6 fee for corkscrew! Sinful! I'd skip passed this place!
