We called thrifty oil on February 5th and told them our oil was low we were going to need oil for heat very soon. I was told that they would deliver between Wednesday the 9th and Friday the 11th. When it was getting later on the Friday the 11th we were worried they weren’t coming and we might not make it through the weekend with the oil we had left. I called Thrifty Oil and was met with the most rude obnoxious woman ever. She told me they told me they had told me different dates. She said they would deliver around the 15th or 16 th. I told her we wouldn’t make it until then. She proceeded to tell me they did not say the 9th through the 11th. That was a total lie !!!! She was so rude I will never use this company again. Good luck to who ever does. Lol.

Called to inquire about a postcard I received in the mail under cod oil, woman that answered the phone told me it wasn't cod oil it was thrifty oil and hung up on me. Called back, she told me they are also cod oil and was overall rude. Price was 30 cents per gallon over competitors. Zero stars.

Thrifty Oil has been making deliveries to me for several years. They were aware my oil tank did not have a whistle. There was never a problem making deliveries to my property until 1/22/2020 when their driver informed me he was not allowed to deliver due to enforcement of their company policy. When I called and spoke with Jeff Wild he was less than customer centric and hide behind a company policy that even they were not in compliance with having delivered to me routinely. Instead of working with me to resolve the problem so I would not run out of oil and to allow time to install the safety whistle to bring my tank up to safety standards, he refused and stated he is not in the customer service business and he could / would not break their company policy, yet their deliveries went on for years to my whistleless oil tank. He was more about firing his own drivers who delivered over the years, which seemed extreme when Thrifty failed to notify their regular customers whose tanks do not have the safety whistle to install one before further deliveries could be made. This is very poor customer service and as a result of their mishandling they have lost my business and will never be considered as a referral to friends or family. I am appalled that this company would rather see their own employees lose their jobs than to work with a regular customer to resolve a problem. It's time Jeff Wild wakes up and realized he is in the customer service business. Perhaps Thrifty Oil company needs to take a closer look at his performance before he places blame on his drivers.

I have used Thrifty Oil for several years. They accept credit cards with no additional charge, occasionally offer discounts for large deliveries, and honor both the price quoted on the phone and the agreed delivery date. Their prices are competitive and their office staff are always available and courteous.
