“Justin was incredibly kind & knowledgeable when I brought my diesel Audi Q7 with an oil leak problem nobody could figure out. He and his mechanic diagnosed the problem within minutes and he was very kind in explaining what needed to be done. Unfortunately by the time I heard about Mill City Diesel, we were moving several states away and the part needed would take a couple of months to arrive. Justin was so very helpful in offering solutions and how to safely drive my car to our new home until I could get it fixed at our new location. “I brought my car here on a whim. I read the reviews and I literally brought my car here based on what other people said. My car was bouncing all over the road and I was kind of desperate for last minute tire shop. I am the kind of person that goes off what people say, and I have to say having picked up my car from them I am very pleased with the work that they did. Not only did. They diagnose the problem very quickly, they were even able to fix my daughter’s tire on her rental car within six hours. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and charged us a very fair price. They got my car already for inspection and left me feeling very confident that all of my issues were resolved. I definitely will be returning to this tire shop in the near future, if I ever need anything else fixed. it is nice to know that you can go to a mom-and-pop automotive shop and still get the high-quality service and care that you need and expect. “Great experience!I don’t usually write reviews but …I had a nail in my tire that I wanted patched from the inside.Originally I went to Firestone (just because it’s closer). I made an appointment but it took an hour to be seen just for them to tell me that the location of the nail made it unable to fix. I would need a new tire which they wanted to sell me. I was pretty sure that wasn’t true and I was being taken advantage of so I wanted to try somewhere else.I called Dave’s Tire around noon and got an appointment for 3:30 the same day. I was in and out in half an hour. They showed me the nail that was removed and it only cost $25 (versus $31 quote from Firestone). Everyone was super nice.I know where to go next time! Highly recommend!”

“As far as I know, this is the only wholesale club on Aquidneck Island. There is no Sam's nor Costco nearby, so this is the only choice for people on the island for wholesale items...there's a Walmart closer to Newport, but it's not a wholesale store.This BJ's is a bit smaller than others but it does have the basic departments like deli, frozen, groceries, health and beauty, small electronics, paper goods, soft drinks, bakery, etc.I went to get some gift cards in here and they had a large selection to choose from.”

“When I saw the nail in my tire on my way to bring my daughter to her class I felt defeated, knowing that whatever I imagined id be paying for a repair was gonna hurt. In addition, with just 1 car, I figured this would be a pain getting it fixed while I still got my child to and from school etc. I stopped in late at 3 just to ask for someone to look at it and let me know what Id be looking at in terms of scheduling so I could get it fixed. They offered to take the car right in. I did not expect people who are doing a physically demanding job to take on another task so close to quitting time, and I wouldnt have blamed them. Not only did they get us right in, but they repaired the tire. I had been driving a work vehicle for a long time and this was the first time in a while I had to deal w a tire issie I was gonna pay for, but I expected to hear "you need 4 new tires, a new gas cap, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves, and thatll come to about $1000.00." Nope. They took great care of us, were super friendly, and really took the stress off of my day. Cant say enough. Thank you.”
