“They are always pleasant and helpful. This one time I brought in a package and I unknowingly wrote down the zip code wrong, right city, wrong zip. He picked it up right away the last 2 numbers were switched. Right away he showed me the error, looked it up and corrected the error and it would be delivered the next day. Yes they are very helpful and kind.”

“Been coming here for decades, service has gone down hill, I always get this one woman who is miserable and trash talking all of her co workers. I miss Kim and the tattooed guy. “I've been using this post office for years & have never had an issue. There's only long lines around nov-dec for obvious reasons. Staff is always helpful, location is much more convenient than the downtown location (parking always a nightmare), & the Corliss location is fine but it's ALWAYS so busy. Parking on Smith has never been an issue, or if you take public transportation, the bus (57 or 56 line) runs approx every 20 min & drops very close by. It is sometimes hard to spot since it's in the same building as a Mexican food restaurant & sits next to the Rhode Island credit union.”

“It's a great little neighborhood post office. The staff is courteous and professional, but occasionally, the wait is a bit long. But, no longer than most Post Offices. Parking is limited to the street, but normally it's a quick in and out.”

“I just want to give the biggest shout out to Lou for all of his help, kindness, and patience he just gave me to mail my package overseas. He was very professional, friendly, and gave me advice that helped make the process smoother and more efficient on both our ends, all while being quite timely. I honestly cannot say how thankful I am, especially being from out of town, for the experience I just had and would recommend this post office to anyone needing postal service. Also, a thank you, if you ever read this, to the gentleman who offered his assistance in helping me to package up my box for shipping. “They unloaded me one day before my appointment! The little asian lady at receiving was very nice and friendly! She deserve a raise! I think she’s a shift manager or supervisor. Receiving is on the back of building on River St.

“I don’t know the delivery man’s name but he went above and beyond to deliver 3 boxes of heavy books to my upstairs door. He even put them inside my door when I greeted hm . I live on Anthony Rd , Portsmouth. I told him he deserves 5 stars so here it is and again thank you so much!”
“EDIT: Changing my previous rating because I filed a complaint and they immediately took care of it. Systems were down so they couldn’t scan my package all is well. Thank you so much for your quick response even calling during off hours. STORY: Dropped off a package at 8am with a blood sample that already had a tracking number on it. They never scanned it and put it in the back. Tried called customer service no help. Crossing my fingers it isn’t lost.”
