“This was our first visit and we enjoyed every aspect of our night. We were celebrating a 65th birthday and they came around with a champagne or non-alcoholic cider toast for everyone. They had a card on the table for the birthday person. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive and professional and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely. Two of us had the Jerusalem artichoke soup, which was amazing. Another person had the cheeseboard and loved it, and another person had the gnocchi appetizer, and it was delicious. For meals one person had the scallop plate. Another person had the duck plate. Someone had the monkfish plate and the other person had the steak dinner. Everyone's meals perfection, and the presentation was a work of art. I would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.”

“Wonderful place to see a performance Up close and personal. Online tickets in advance are simple and easy. Plenty of FREE parking. Line to get in is outside so dress for the weather. Many stairs to climb to get to the event. BYOB and FOOD. Such a great way to enjoy the event for a small cost. Tables are reserved so finger foods are best. Enjoy the evening. GREAT MUSIC”
“We can't say enough about Squantum Association as our wedding venue. From the beautiful views, to the historic buildings, and the great staff, we can't imagine having to plan our wedding without the help of Tina Desrosiers. She was attentive and was able to address any concern (there was not many) and make our day so great.Our food was phenomenal, our guests couldn't stop talking about how great everything was whether it was location or just the venue in general and how much fun they had. We would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking for a great value and price with great service.”
“Fantastic New Year's Eve event. Ballroom dancing which included a very accommodating DJ who took requests. Classy place to which I plan on returning. I was surprised that the venue did not offer hot tea as an option with dessert. And the cream for the coffee was not existent.”

“What an amazing experience from beginning to end! I had my husband's suprise 40th birthday party at Light on the Bay. It was just absolutely perfect! Booking was made easy, and when I told them what I wanted, they were willing to customize everything to exactly what I wanted. The venue is just beautiful, and they specialize on treating everyone like a VIP customer. They arranged to have my husband walk-in to the Rocky theme song (it was his favorite movie growing up), and even made sure the dj put our wedding song on the playlist. The event space was so beautiful. The color scheme was perfect decorations were elegant and fun, and the best part, after telling them what I wanted, I didnt have to do a thing! All I brought was the picture board. The food was beyond amazing. Everything was delicious, and they added some extra touches with beautiful grazing tables and stellar dessert displays. We will never have another party anywhere else.”

“We had our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the G and our wedding reception at the Ballroom at the Providence G in September 2023, and we could not be happier! We fell in love with the venue right away - from the beautiful rooftop to the spacious ballroom and gorgeous chandeliers, it's a really special city venue that's difficult to beat.During our outdoor ceremony, there were dark clouds rolling in and lightning striking in the distance. The moment once the ceremony was over and all our guests were safely inside the Rooftop covering for cocktail hour, it started pouring and our guests were able to enjoy watching the rain from within the glass walls and ceiling, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night!The ballroom's elegant and minimal decor was perfect for our vision. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and we didn't have to worry about long lines at the bar. There was plenty of room for our 150 guests, and the dance floor was huge. It was a very hot and muggy weekend, but with the AC blasting, massive fans the team brought onto the dance floor, and the open bar, our guests didn't seem to mind.Lauren and her team were amazing, honest and upfront, and super helpful, responding to all my questions and concerns with reassurances and proposed solutions during the planning process and on the day of. Lauren's energy is so calming and she really made us feel comfortable and confident that she had it all handled. The team helped us stick to our timeline and pull off a surprise lion dance performance for our guests.We highly recommend this venue and this team to pull off your dream wedding!”

“We had our baby shower here yesterday. People from 6 yrs old to 60 had a great time. The old time duckpin bowling was a lot of fun. We had many compliments on the food, and were surprised when our fruit platter was presented in a watermelon shaped like a baby carriage. I would highly recommend this venue!Cheryl”
“Franchesca was a pleasure to work with while planning my wedding! She was very prompt with answering emails/phone calls and very attentive to details. I found myself to be very nit-picky as our date grew closer and when I had an issue with my bridal bouquet on the morning of my wedding she dropped everything and fixed it right away. She was very organized and honest with my expectations and quotes, and respected our budget--even came up with alternative ideas (i.e., instead of a floral arch at the alter, she suggested taller stemmed plants and placed tea lights on them, which looked gorgeous and stayed within my price range). She is so sweet and definitely has an adaptable vision. I wanted baby's breath flower crowns for my flower girls but I was was worried that one of them, my 18-month-old flower girl, would rip out her flower crown--Franchesca instead made a baby's breath hair clip for her instead, which stayed the entire night! She was also very knowledgeable about my venue, the Providence Public Library, which helped me be a little bit more decisive when it came to which areas I wanted to decorate with fresh flowers (helped cut the cost for me)! All in all, she's great at what she does, her website/social media absolutely reflects what she can do, and she can tastefully add a touch of elegance to your special day!”
“I'm a long time participant (2 decades) in this great little hip spot...I've given full scale concerts in the garden, hosted their long running open-mic, played the open mic and participated in just about everything that this hip-spot has offered at one time or another. It is ideal as a small music venue, acoustic or PA, it offers the atmosphere of a listening audience. and easy to get to... I have a warm place in my heart for it's history in town and have only the best of experiences that I've enjoyed there...it's so much more than a coffee/tea house and a great place to catch a Java as well ... a must see in Prov. “Im not a member here , but I install and service their wastewater marina pump. The facility is in a great location . It has has a great view of the bay , easy access , plenty of parking , and is surrounded by beautiful properties. On site , they have a nice club house , bathrooms , fire pit area , tiki bar , and more . They have plenty of slips and the docks are well kept. In in the perfect position in the bay . Never too choppy , and protected by a sea wall. Over all I’m sure this would be a great place to become a member .”

“Room is clean. Staff is helpful and friendly- very approachable. Our room 417 was spacious and although it just looked out onto a rooftop it was fine. We had drinks a Fleur which was hopping all evening. Elevators are fast. Parking in garage next door for $20 a day.”

“Our food was amazing and flavor was on point. Stopped in for dinner with family and Sam our waitress made things very comfortable for our table and when I say knowledgeable I mean she new the menu and could recite a long list of specials. Stuffed lobster for myself with white rice and Stuffed shrimp, green beens and roasted potatoes cooked to perfection for my wife. Both generous portions and cocktails were tasteful. If you’re in the area and looking for seafood dining highly recommend.
