“Mount Hope Farm is an absolutely stunning venue in a gorgeous location. Right on the water in Bristol, RI, the views of the water and the Mount Hope Bridge are spectacular. Our ceremony space was everything we ever dreamed, right in nature on the water. We were at MHF's Cove Cabin event space, and the cabin added such great charm and was a great place to retreat to when we needed a private moment. It was also a gorgeous tent to have our wedding in, and it looked amazing. We loved almost everything about having our wedding here - they partner with Russell Morin Catering, who were an amazing team to have behind our day. The food was excellent, the the coordination support they provided was beyond compare. MHF has really picked a winner for a partner there. The only downside I will say this venue has is the timing restrictions before your event. We were only allowed on site one hour before our ceremony at 5pm, meaning we really only had 30 minutes to take photos before guests arrived (many early birds in our guest pool). Because of this, we had to take family photos and wedding party photos elsewhere, when we really wanted all the photos at the venue. It's a shame they have this timing restriction and I hope they reconsider it for future events.”

“I attended a benefit here and everything was wonderful! The only detractor was that the outdoor lighting along the walking paths by the function hall weren't lit when exiting the building and walking to the parking lot at about 9:15 pm. I almost took a tumble. Please make sure your outdoor lighting is on when people are exiting your buildings in the dark!”

“Stopped in with a friend. I thought the name was catchy and I’ll tell you what it does. Remind me of a real speakeasy from back in the 20s. It was a comfortable atmosphere. The employees and the management were delightful. The food was excellent. The drinks were spot on. I definitely would recommend this place. We will be back.”

“Wonderful venue. Seating was very comfortable. Small intimate showplace, great for couples. When I got my tickets it was general admission only. Arriving noticed all the best seating was reserved. Don't understand that. I would have paid for reserved seats. Would have been nice to know you can bring your own liquor, wine and food also. Parking was not so great. Lots of tow signs. All in all still a nice place to see entertainment up close and personal.”

“I went here for one of my coworkers retirement parties on a Saturday night. It's a small little bar, it's a little weird at first when you come through the entrance. Coming through the entrance there's a door on the right that leads to a private party room that you could probably mistake for a coat closet if you don't open the door, as on the left there's a stairwell that goes downstairs to the actual bar. I ended up getting the Maybay breeze, which is basically Malibu rum and a bunch of other juice mixes. The scary part is you can't seem to taste the alcohol but after a few drinks you definitely know there's some there. The prices of drinks are reasonable! Only $6 for a 12 oz cup! What a steal! This definitely seems like a amazing place to spend the weekend and meet a few locals!”

“Yeimy and her team did such an amazing job with the decoration and preparation for my mother’s 50th ( 50 shades of pink ) birthday celebration. Yeimy, the owner, was great with communication from beginning to end, and she truly did everything I expected and more. The setup was absolutely beautiful. Everything looked exactly how I wanted it and exactly how I pictured it. This was my first time planning an event with my sibling, and Yeimy helped make the entire process so much easier and less stressful. It was also a pleasure meeting her husband at the event. He made sure the bar area was perfect, showed amazing hospitality, and made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. This is definitely a place you would want to book for a birthday, celebration, or any special event. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm, and they really made us feel taken care of. I will definitely be booking again in the future. Please check them out and give them a chance 🩷”

“Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing vineyard we escaped to on our way out of Newport. We were traveling with our dog and this vineyard welcomed him to join us. There are plentiful seating options throughout the grounds, many in the shade and with a view of the water. We ordered a wine flight which was very affordable and tasty! I really enjoyed the orange wine. The employees were very friendly to us and our dog and walked us through the options for tasting and ordering. We could have stayed all day! This is a must-stop if you’re in the Newport area and enjoy wine with great vibes.”

“We recently scheduled a luncheon for a gathering after my father's funeral. Amanda in the business office was very kind, helpful and professional in helping us choose a menu and setting the room up to our liking. We went with the most basic buffet option which included salad, fried chicken, red sauce ziti, stuffed scrod, baked ham, roast potatoes. I knew the reputation of the Venus, so of course I was expecting quality food, but I can honestly say I was blown away by how amazingly delicious the food was. I ate two full plates. Not to mention everyone was complimenting the food as well. No joke, people were raving about the fish, which is not to detract from everything else, because it was all amazing. In the week since the event, every time I get hungry I crave that buffet. Here's the bottom line, if they served this exact buffet as a normal everyday menu offering, I'd eat there twice a week at least.”

So yeah that’s why I gave it a 4 star review but other than the water this place is very nice clean & friendly staff”
