Dave's Fresh Marketplace at Hoxsie is a classy, very clean establishment offering a great selection. It is known for its excellent fresh prepared foods, which cannot be beaten. Highlights include the specialty pizzas, buffalo chicken dip, a fresh seafood department, and a scratch bakery. The store features a full-service deli and kitchen, a hot bar, soup bar, and cold bars, along with fresh sushi, meals for one, and complimentary coffee. It also contains a florist. However, the market is consistently described as more expensive and pricier than other major grocery stores. It is considered good for grabbing something quick, but shoppers are advised to do major shopping elsewhere. Some non-food items are significantly marked up. While the inside of the store is nice and the workers are good, there have been negative experiences with rude people in the shopping area.
